Position: MuleSoft Developer (Senior Level)
Location: USA – Remote (Preference: Phoenix, AZ)
Type: Staff Augmentation / Subcontract

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior MuleSoft Developer with strong hands-on integration experience to design and deliver enterprise-grade API and middleware solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Mule ESB, SOA architecture, and API-led connectivity models.

This role requires strong collaboration with product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop complex integration use cases using MuleSoft

Build and maintain APIs and middleware services aligned with enterprise standards

Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions

Deliver POCs and conceptualize new features or components

Ensure adherence to MuleSoft best practices, governance, and API delivery models

Provide technical support during deployment and production escalations

Create documentation for operational processes and automated workflows

Participate in practice growth initiatives including mentoring and interviews

Monitor MuleSoft environments and ensure optimal performance

Required Technical Skills

7+ years of experience in MuleSoft

Strong experience with:

Mule ESB

SOA Architecture

Java

Middleware integration

Web service standards expertise:

XML

XSD

JSON

SOAP

REST

Strong understanding of RDBMS

Experience designing and developing complex API integrations

Knowledge of MuleSoft governance and API-led connectivity models

Experience with MuleSoft administration and monitoring

MuleSoft certification preferred
