Hi... I am having Pavilion DV6 6011TX lap top & I have re-installed the windows 7 + hp drivers which is in the HP web. But my beats audio is not working & I am unable to find it in my computer. Once press the fn+b the beats logo will display on my screen but unable to do any settings changes. Please help me to correct this issue.

I recently had my hard drive replaced and I am trying to get back all my original programs, drivers, and software back on my laptop. My laptop was a refurbished laptop but it had all original software. No since I've replaced the hard drive, I have nothing. Also, a backup was unable to be completed due to the hard drive failure. So how would I get all orginal software restored? They did restore Windows 7, but that's it. For example, I was listening to my music on my Zune player earlier and realized the sound was horrible. My laptop did come with Beats Audio but I don't think it's there anymore.

Your best bet would be to contact the HP support help desk at 1-800-474-6836, and order the original factory created disk for your computer. They normally run around the ballpark for 12-30 bucks so it varies mainly depending on the shipping.

Hello samyak. I understand some of your drivers are not installed.

What version of Windows are you using?

First, I'd suggest you install both the HP Software Framework and HP Support Assistant. Then I'd like you to check Device Manager again. If any device has a yellow exclamation point beside its name then click on the device and give me the error code. If there are any "Unknown" or "Other" devices then I will need the Hardware IDs. Try the following.

Hello again samyak.

Thank you for posting the Hardware IDs. However, I need to know which version of Windows you are using in order to locate the appropriate versions.

Are you using Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8?

Thanks and have an amazing day!

thanks very much for your help man...now my wifi is working but still theres an unknown device with same error code and Hardware id i posted..even one more device came up with an exclamation mark in the network adapters section..following are the details:

The first device (the virtual adapter) is virtual network which allows you to use the computer as a "software router." Unless you're using this PC as an Access Point this device is useless to you. This article has more information on the service. Your best bet is to just disable it. Try the following.

The device with the "ACPI/HPQ0004" ID actually returned two results. The first was the Quick Launch Button software. The other was related to Hard Drive Protection. Try this driver.

Make sure to reboot after all of these instructions have been completed. Then go back to Device Manager and verify whether everything looks as it should.

Continue to have a great day!
