Good day Gentlemen,
Please see our program as of today:
8:30AM-9:30AM - Registration
9:15AM-9:30AM - Opening Remarks (Pres. Rod)
9:45AM-11:15AM - Washington SyCip Open Forum with Audience (1.5 hours)
11:15AM-12:00AM - Speaker 2 (Possibly Rudy Ang on Family Entrepreneurship)
12:00PM-1:00PM LUNCH
1:15PM-2:00PM - Speaker 4 (Need someone who can wake up the audience from lunch. Kong/Moreno/Pangilinan?)
2:00PM-3:30PM - Speaker 5 Prof. Ricky Mercado (will compress his Round Table talk to 1 hour with 30 mins Q&A)
4:15PM-5:00PM - Speaker 6 (Possible Panel if too many speakers)
5:00PM-5:45PM - Speaker 7
5:45PM-6:00PM - Closing Remarks
Tentative Emcee Candidates: John Aguilar and April Love Jordan
Given that two of our key speakers require 1.5 hours each (Mr. SyCip suggesteded minimum 1 hour, Ricky Mercado needs to do similar talk as round table), we now have less 45-minute slots originally allotted per other speakers. We still have the following who are more or less confirmed:
1. PP Toby - Confirmed, for visit 08/16/12
2. Roberto Claudio Sr. - Available, PP Toby said to inform him if we still need his dad.
3. William Belo - More or less confirmed
4. Lorraine Belo (William's daughter) - More or less confirmed.
Awaiting confirmation:
1. Francis Kong
2. Anthony Pangilinan
3. Lilybeth Tan-Ng
4. Dr. Vicky Belo
5. Cristalle Belo Henares
6. Ramon Villavicencio
This leads us to a pleasant problem, having more speakers than time for each. Here are some suggestions:
1. Put PP Toby, his dad, Mr. Belo and daughter in a panel discussion. If Dr. Belo and daughter say yes, then we put them in the panel too. Maybe Sir Rami and his dad too. Panel to last around 45 minutes.
2. We put in 45 minutes per speaker. If we shorten some of the speaker slots (except Mr. SyCip, Ricky Mercado and Panel), we can maybe free up another slot.
In addition, if Jobstreet comes on board as a sponsor, they are asking for 30 minutes of stage time.
By tonight we should be able to finalize the program, and do contingency programs in case we have less, or more speakers.
Comments and suggestions welcome.
Pat
