e-learning course: “Introduction to Innovation Policy for Developing Countries” available and open for registration September 17 - November 2, 2012 (Application deadline: September 5, 2012) This e-Learning course will discuss the concept of innovation policy, walk through pragmatic innovation strategies derived from principles and experience, and discuss the basic government’s roles in innovation policy making. After completing the course, participants will have a concrete understanding of innovation and the major components of innovation policy, and be able to make policy recommendations for innovation policy reforms in his/her own country. Target Audience: - Government officials from S&T, education, industry, labor, finance, and economy ministries   - Other related agencies, involved in an innovation system such as business associations, public research institutes - Development practitioners (national development organizations, NGOs) involved in innovation projects - International development organizations.
