Dear CEC members,

Here is a great China-focused entrepreneurship event hosted by Stanford China Entrepreneurship Organization on Sept. 28-30. Please refer to the email and flyer below for detailed information.

Below are some key points that I want to highlight for this event:

• The event is in Stanford/Silicon Valley, leveraging a lot of great resources about entrepreneurship there. 
• There will not only be keynote speeches and panel discussions, you will also visit startups and incubator in the valley.
• Besides these event, there will also be a pitch contest. If you have an idea/project, you can apply and win the $5,000 prize!
• Here is the full agenda for this event.
• Last but not least, you can get $200-$500 CASH SUBSIDY for the air ticket, depending on the distance. By flying all the way from Boston, you could be able to get the amount close to $500. And also, the students in Stanford will try to provide accommodation for those who want.

If you are interested and want to apply, this is the application form. The deadline of the first-round application is Aug 26. Because the spots are limited, the organizing committee will go through a selective process to decide on the participants to refund their trips. So if you are interested, act fast!

We are officially launching "Stanford CEO Weekend 2012: U.S.-China Technology Convergence: What does that mean to us?" Program, scheduled on Sept 28-30 at Stanford University.
