Hello, everybody, I play Entombed many time. However, I find it difficult to distinguish between large ax and normal axe. Do you have any way to distinguish them? Regard, Vireak.

Hi,
I think axes are divided into hand axe, battleaxe and great axe.
The great axe is the largest one, and the large axe skill handles these.
The axe skill handles the hand and battle axe.
Hope that helps you out,

HI,

If all else fails, including your memory, check the bazaar for that type of
weapon. Then it will tell you in which category it goes.

The only exception to this would be the long swords as there is no category
for one to check.

I love the axes skill. Axes are so devastating in Entombed.

yeah, I almost go for axes, large axes, or both.
although some of the swords like the bastard ones can be pretty
deadly, I haven't found any lately.
diddo for ball and chains. I just had to have two paladins in my party didn't i?
shame war hammers arn't that great.

Yep, I primarily play with large axes or large clubs, depending which I get
better quality of. Of course, for those that can't handle either, I of
course give them the twins to play with.

yeah, they can still be effective if you've got a mage with shrink.
now all we need is to find a legendary maul called Darth and we're set. :D

The best longswords are Falchions and Scimitars, in my experience. I
wonder if worse damaging swords like broadswords have advantages over
their more damaging counterparts, or if they're just crappier in
general.

As for warhammers, they do less damage than mauls or large clubs, but
they are significantly faster, which comes into play if you aren't
playing a fighter style character.

hmmm I usually go by the numbers though to be honest I have no idea
of what all the items in the game are just the values.

Going by the numbers might be misleading. I mean, look at Shields
versus Bucklers. I haven't run the actual comparison yet, but shields
look like they do way less protection than bucklers, but that doesn't
really make sense, as shields are huge in comparison to a buckler.
There may be a set of numbers that we can't see that contribute to
game mechanics we aren't aware of. Going strictly by the numbers, in
other words, might not be entirely accurate between classes of
different objects, though it's probably useful comparing similar
objects.

true decota, to a point I use numbers and also the quality good etc atribute.
ofcause if its named has the right quality and percentage then I use
it, lamort had it down to an art I am unable to match, though I have
not the full game yet though I will be looking into that this year.

The sword twins are awesome! I recently got those when I defeated the goblin King!
