To the Group,
I just joined today so I do not know the edicate of this group for
asking questions so please forgive me. We just had IBM install
Autovue 2o for us offsite along with Agile 9.3 (PC & PPM). The
problem is I cannot start a Mark up in Autovue no matter how I tweek
the privileges. A suggestion or two of what to look for wiould be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Willie,

Agile's integration to AutoVue constrains when you can add markups.

I'm afraid I'm not an Agile expert - I know that one of the places you can create markups is in the context of an ECO.  I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with Agile to tell you step by step what to do.

If there isn't someone else on here with more knowledge of Agile - I can find someone who knows...   I'll let you know if I hear more.

Warren

The Agile PLM Getting Started Guide has some guidance in this area.
All of our documentation is available through here:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/documentation/agile-085940.html.
the 9.3.0.2 Getting Started Guide (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/
E17287_03/otn/pdf/user/E17299_01.pdf) on page 334 describes steps for
doing redlining and markup.

This section also refers to the Viewer Supplement document, and I
would also recommend our Admin document. Page 405 in the Admin manual
(http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17287_03/otn/pdf/administration/
E17298_01.pdf) describes Roles and Privileges around Redline Markup.

Hopefully the combination of these materials helps you with resolving
your problem.

If you look the Oracle AutoVue for Agile PLM document
Part number E17505-01 you will get some guidance.

On page 38 of this document it gives more information how Marking up
is working.

From this you get more guidance for marking up as well as Digtal
Markup.

Do you see your Markup Indicator icon?

Please note that by default the markups are disabled for office
documents and you have to go to INI file to enable and use office
documents
