sudo splunkforwarder/bin/splunk list forward-server
Active forwards:
X.X.X.X:XXXX
Configured but inactive forwards:
None

It show the active forwards index server ip address and port number but Configured but inactive forwards: None

You have the wrong mailing list. ELSA and Splunk are different products.
