Confluence 3.0: Best Practices

Dear All,

If we need to upgrade Confluence 2.10.2 to 3.0 for about 1500 users. Are their any best practices available before we go ahead.

1) Read release and upgrade notes
2) Review all existing 3.0 bug reports and consider those that might
affect you
3) Test in staging environment
4) Test in staging environment
5) Test in staging environment

We just upgraded our 116k user instance this week. So far so good.
I'll give it a few more before I call it a success and share the
experience.

I'd recommend going straight to Confluence 3.0.1 (http://

and follow our upgrade notes (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/
