There is a BoF tomorrow that I may or may not get to. I understand
some of it will be about Confluence 3.0.

Has anyone been part of Beta testing for the new version?

Thanks,
Alice

We're not actually in beta yet, but we do have development releases
available for those willing to test on NON-production machines.
Feedback is welcome.

I plan to start evaluating 3.0 on a replica of our prod environment
next week.

I'm looking for any customers willing to be on a 30 minute call in the
next 2 weeks for me to show you Confluence 3.0 and get some feedback
prior to our release. Please let me know if you're interested.

Cheers,
Audra

I'd be interested. We've got a new confluence site deployment
scheduled for the end of June. I'd like to see if 3.0 has enough
improvements to be worth the risk of going live on something
relatively new. And having yet another version of confluence hanging
around, confusing users and making maintenance tough.

Day of week doesn't matter. Anytime starting US Eastern time 7 am or
later or finishing before 1 am is OK with me. Just as long as there is
a US based phone line.

I'd be interested in participating. 9am-5pm EST M-F is best for me.

I guess there is a misunderstanding here.

I will be testing 3.0 in our env and can report my findings here, but
I don't quite understand how would you like to participate.

Anyone is able to get the latest milestone build from the atlassian's
site and test it. Besides, our test environment is not accessible from
the public internet, so you wouldn't be able to see anything.

Did I miss something?

cheers,
Igor

I'd still like to have some sort of conference call. I don't know that
anyone else on our team would be able to attend.

Last week I talked with a tech support guy who thought a release
candidate might be coming out this week. Any idea when this might
happen?

We're building a new confluence install/site that will go live in a
couple months. Rather than having to upgrade later on, I'd like to put
that on 3.0. Our development team needs to create content and plugins
and such. If they aren't able to export any content from a milestone
release, they probably won't want to spend time playing around with
it.

Will release candidates support exporting some or all the information
to a final 3.0?

Thanks,
Alice
