I wonder if this will result in even bigger difference between the
clustered and standalone build and ultimately more issues with
clustered build as well as plugins running in clustered environment.

Thanks for the pointer.

I am running Confluence 2.5.1 standalone. We are looking to upgrade to
3.0 (or 3.0.1 if they release it soon), and we are considering whether
or not to convert to a clustered configuration. Any feedback on that?
We're currently not experiencing any performance issues, but our
installation is an exception at our company, almost all other
applications are clustered. So we are thinking of clustering just to
align with normal best practice and also for whatever performance
benefits are there.

But, I don't know anything about Confluence clustering. Is this a bad
idea? A good thing? Thoughts?

Thanks,
Eric
