entermedia + dedicated clustered elastic search

Hi everyone, 

is possible run instance emdb localy with dedicated  (not embeded elastic) clustered elastic search (on another PC)? How, a where can i configure it?

We currently support "Elastic-only nodes" that point to docker-enabled Elastic servers that do not contain EnterMedia.

However, what you're wanting to do is a bit more advanced and may require some Java changes (and/or custom node.xml & elasticindex.yaml files).  We are using an older version of Elasticsearch as well, and are not planning on upgrading right now.

We would like to do further research into this, and would like to make this possible - but to do that we would need someone to sponsor the work by setting up a meeting, or putting support points towards this.
