Description

· Design, Write, and Test Code
· Own product architecture design. Focus on key elements such as reusability, scalability, maintainability, and security.
· Write code.
· Implement modern engineering practices to ensure product quality (e.g., Automation and CI/CD practices).
· Lead the adoption of best in class software engineer practices, frameworks, and tools.
· Contain technical sprawl and limit bad technical debt.
· Participate in iterative software development process, including scoping, detailed design, estimation, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, and support.
· Influence Product Direction
· Work closely with the Product Management team to help shape the future roadmap of the product.
· Translate overall product portfolio requirements into well-designed and implemented solutions.
· Own the technical product backlog/roadmap.
· Lead and Mentor Others
· Actively assist in the career development of other software engineers.
· Exert technical influence over teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.
· Ensure team members have clear focus and guide them to make solid decisions which support the objectives and values of the organization, product team, and customers.
· Agile methodology. Some team members are local and some are located in Minsk.
Required Qualifications
· BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent practical experience
· Minimum of 7+ years of experience in designing and building commercial software
· Minimum of 3+ years of .Net and C#.
· WPF (2+ years)
· ASP.NET MVC / Web API (2+ years)
· Self-motivated and willing to dive deep into unfamiliar and existing code base.
· Experience with relational database and SQL.
· Writing automated unit, integration and regression tests.
· Troubleshooting and debugging production issues.
· Experience in Software Development Life Cycle
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Prism and Composite applications for WPF
· Experience working with Cloud Providers (Azure, AWS)
· Experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Backbone
· Mobile development experience
· Experience in commercial software development
· Good communicator, people agility, good collaboration skills, team and delivery focused, accountability, ability to work well with partly remote team
