Role:-
· Client. is looking for a mobile applications developer to work in an exciting, very fast-paced environment.
· Our goal is to continually leverage the best people, process and technology to deliver solutions that differentiate Polaris and fuel the passion of powersports enthusiasts.
· We are looking for a dynamic and articulate Mobile App Developer, with a customer first mindset, to create engaging customer tools for Client.
· This position will work with engineers who develop and support iOS and Android apps using Xamarin as part of an ecosystem of mobile apps, websites, and REST services.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
· Design and code Polaris Ride Command mobile applications in an Agile environment
· Ensure quality via judicious unit testing and peer review
· Work with User Experience experts to bridge the gap between wireframes and technical implementation. Communicate technical challenges and propose alternate approaches when necessary
· Engage in front-end and back-end development (ex: search)
Minimum Qualifications:
· Xamarin, C#, .NET
· REST API development
· Repository and Build tools (e.g., Git and Jenkins)
· Native Android / iOS development experience
· Identity and Access Management (e.g., Auth0)
· Demonstrated success building and supporting commercial apps
· 3+ years of software development experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or strong work equivalent
· Strong knowledge of software architectures, patterns, and processes
· The ability to multitask on competing priorities (ex: new development and customer support)
· Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability testing techniques
· Performance testing/tuning experience
· Working knowledge of Agile development process and tools (preferably LeanKit)
· Has contributed to coding standards definition
