Shooting from the Camera as well please

I am not a developer but a photographer.

I would like to have this app allowing to shoot from the camera as well, not only from the computer.

I noticed that once the camera —in my case a NIkon D610— is connected the display shows PC and the camera is unresponsive, I wish to have the controls working through the camera as well.
