Entangle does not build on Archlinux systems

The following message is consistently found.

[84/88] Linking target src/frontend/libentangle_frontend.so.0.0.0
FAILED: src/frontend/libentangle_frontend.so.0.0.0

I have tried many times. On Ubuntu, the program installs.

Does anyone have any further information?

I have installed glib-devel. Also seen were messaging by devs of Gentoo, but I'm not sure what was the result of those efforts. This has been a nagging issue for a while.
