Entangle doesn't directly get involved in any of the camera communications.
The app merely serves as a graphical user interface, on top of the libgphoto2
library that does all the comms stuff. IOW, the best place to start is to learn
about what libgphoto2 provides in terms of APIs & functionality IMHO. You
can directly experiment via its 'gphoto' command line tool which is a fairly
direct exposure of its APIs to the shell.
