Dear Participants,
Please read this e-mail carefully and do your preparations due to these instructions.
The final program can be seen on the schedule which is attached to this mail.
The further instructions you will need for preparation are listed as follow:
-The duration of every project-presentation will be strictly 30 mins. You can find the order of presentations on the schedule. Additionally you can find your group name by your project name in the table below to identify your project in the presentation order.
-For the "Culture Night" on May 14, clothes should be brought which represent your culture of your home country. Please also bring your cultural food and drinks from your cuisine to share your culture with others in Culture Night. In that night each team is given a table and we expect you to place your cultural food and drinks on it. And please don't forget to take your country's flag t cover your table. This event is an essential and traditional part of ICAMES.
-Every year in Culture Night, maximum-2-minutes-long videos or presentations about the participating countries are watched alltogether. Please also prepare a 2 minute show for that night. In attachment you can find an example which was brought by a team from Israel.
-For some surprise events, please bring your swimsuits as well.
-You should not be worried about your first hours in this awesome city: It does not matter which airport you will land in Istanbul. You will be accompanied from the airport to your accommodation. Unfortunately, we cannot afford the 9th-May-night-accomodation for the ones who are going to be here on 9th of May. **We will take you from the airport to the hotel on 9th May but we will not be able to afford its cost for 9th May!** Participants who are going to be here after that date should not be worried about accomodation.
-Dates for your main presentations are included in the attachment as well.
-The weather in Istanbul during the event can be checked by this link.
