I'm new to all of this, but I having trouble with installing the open
source version of enso. I downloaded the .exe from the site, but it
has a problem with the pywin installer since it requires Python 2.6
and the Python installer in the package installs 2.5.4. I manually
installed both pywin for 2.5 and Python 2.6.4. When enso starts up it
gets stuck on the "starting enso" graphic...

any suggestions?

Late answer but for future readers:

ENSO+ is a stand-alone open source version for Windows written in .Net with installer included.
