I know many of you are keen to see Ensime Sublime support come back - so
here it is:

https://github.com/ensime/ensime-sublime

It needs more TLC - but it is possible to get a project open (you need
to follow the instructions carefully) and get error highlighting and
navigation. Lots of work to do, see the issue tracker (or try it and
see what needs to be done if you want to participate)

Enjoy!

Cheers

Not quite working for me. When I attempt to edit a scala source file ST2 displays an error.

The Ensime server log files contains

Malformed swank:typecheck-file

Hi,

You are right, right after my announcement I found I was running an old
'publishLocal' version of the server, meaning I did not see the protocol
change.

I fixed this on the 23rd - can you try updating and try again
https://github.com/ensime/ensime-sublime/commit/e0e4e3116feb3cc28f07fc0271e1755d7e86c56a

(technical details - file format changed from raw string to
SourceFileInfo object).

It is still a work in progress - I will be releasing another fix in the
next day or so which simplifies the startup steps a little.

I also suggest you catch us on the gitter channel as I tend to send
updates there rather than spamming everybody.

Cheers

Dude, this rocks. You've freed me from IntelliJ! Thank you so much. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help to whip this thing back into shape.

Glad to hear it. The most important thing right now is to try it and
report issues/bugs on the tracker. There is a lot of broken stuff and a
risk I will break it further ;)

New changes coming soon... Watch the gitter channel.

Cheers
