Hi All,

I have a secured web service which required username and password
which is hosted on a secured port (SSL). That web service is written
in java.

I need to consume that web service using ensemble. I use the SOAP
wizard to use and create proxy classes. I am able to view the wsdl in
SOAP Wizard after i type in the URL but when i press next, ensemble
says "finding namespaces..." and then it gives me the following error.

ERROR #6059: Unable to open TCP/IP socket to server <<severname>>.

Does this mean that the server on which the web service is hosted is
timing out ?

I have also tried the CSP Web Gateway HTTP Trace fas the cility and it
logs the requests when i press the 'next' button in SOAP Wizard but it
does not provide me any useful information either.

Can anybody help me with this ?

Thanks

Hi Viraj

What is the port shown for <<servername>> in the error screen.

For example the error ERROR #6059: Unable to open TCP/IP socket to server
www.w3.org:80 could be because no internet access or internet access is
through a proxy server.
If access through a proxy server then see
http://docs.intersystems.com/ens20102/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI.Page.cls?KEY=G
SOP_cli_details#GSOP_C164563 for details on setting proxy details.

Regards

James

Hi James,
Thanks for your reply.

The port number is 443. Normaly, when you put SSL on some web server,
by default they work on 443.

Now i am trying on another server (which i assume is bypassing some
proxy setting or something). Now i am getting another error while
trying to generate the classes.

"Unable to write to socket with SSL/TLS configuration" - error code is
6085.
However, if i save the wsdl into some xml in my pc as an xml file and
then take reference. it works.
Is ensebmle finding it hard to generate classes from the wsdl ?

I do not know why the behaviour is changing.

Thanks
