HL7 CON Segment Placement

I need some information about CON segments.  I have checked the EDI and HL7 Manager schema information for 2011.1.0 and 2012.1.0 and cannot find when the CON segment needs to be placed in an ADT message.  I am getting "Segment 5 of type CON not allowed for message type ADT_A04, or out of sequence. Ignored." errors from inbound messages and want to be able to instruct the sending system on proper placement.

 

Can someone tell me where I can find this information?

CON is the consent segment introduced in 2.5. The only standard message structure that I can see with this segment is the 2.7 MDM – Medical Document Management messages.

 

If you are receiving messages with this, you need to either turn off validation or create a custom schema
