Hi,

My Ensemble studio is working fine, but when I try to open EMP and SMP
in browser I am getting the CSP server Error - 500 Internal Server
Error. I am unable to open both EMP and SMP. Please do needful help on
this.

Thanks,

Vishal.

Hi Vishal

It might be the CSPSystem user account has become disabled:

go into terminal

ZN "%SYS"
Do ^SECURITY
Select the User Setup option and check for disabled users (list all users)
and change according to your security configuration e.g. For minimal
unknownuser is enabled.

If this is not the issue I suggest contacting the WRC.

Kind regards

James

James/Vishal,

This is exactly what happened at our site in our TEST environment.
The CSPSystem account became disabled. Unfortunately, the other
accounts with admin rights had also become disabled. So, we had to
activate the Emergency Cache account before we could even log in to
the terminal.

To enable your user(s) using the Emergency Cache User, you first have
to create the Emergency Cache User. Just follow these steps:

1. Stop Ensemble using the cube in the system tray

2. Open a command window and change directory to Intersystems\Ensemble
\bin

3. From the Command prompt, type "ccontrol start [your environment
name] /EmergencyId=[make up an id and insert here],[make up a password
and insert here]" NOTE: Leave this command window open.

4. Step 3 will start the environment (which you indicated) from the
command line and create a temporary Emergency user and password.
NOTE: Apparently none of the other users will be able to log in while
the Emergency User is active.

5. Do the terminal steps that James outlined above

6. Go back to the command window from step 3. Type "ccontrol stop
[your environment name]" Note, if this doesn't work, you may need to
try "ccontrol force [your environment name]"
NOTE: Step 6 will also disable/delete the Emergency ID

7. Use the Ensemble cube in the System Tray to start your
environment. Wait for the "green light"

8. Use the Ensemble cube to access the System Management Portal (You
should be able to get to it now)

9. Log in to Ensemble using the user(s) which you just enabled.

10. Chances are that if CSPSystem is disabled, others will be too. To
fix any that might have gone wrong, go to System Administration,
choose Security management, then choose Users. Here you will be able
to see all of the users and whether or not they are active.

James, please feel free to correct me on any steps that I may have
gotten wrong or items that I missed. This is what worked for us and
is essentially the same thing as what James said, but with some
additional info.

Thanks and good luck!

Bill

Top advice.

This mixed with the post from James allowed be to get past a HTTP:500 issue. Because the CSPSystem user was disabled was unable to hit the front page and also was unable to logon to terminal with normal admin users.
