So if the file(s) are on a UNC path this almost certainly suggests a network path of some sort. It is extremely likely that the network is configured such that the local System account does not have access to network paths. I’d go so far as to suggest that this is the default behavior, but I am not an expert on that so don’t take my word for it!
What I have seen in a number of places though is that they setup the Ensemble Controller Service to run under a different user and they give that user the permissions to access the relevant file paths on the network resources. This normally works anyway!
Good luck.

Subject: [InterSystems-EnsHlth] FileOperation unc file path issues
Hi,
Hoping someone can help.
On my Production I have the 'File Path' option in settings set to a UNC path ( //someshare/folder/My Files/ )
I am getting the following error when trying to write files to this share: ( ERROR #5005: Cannot open file ..... )
I assume it's some type of permission issue. Could a space in the folder name cause this issue? ( folder = 'My File' )
If I click on the magnifying glass beside the 'File Path' setting I don't see the contents of the share ( //someshare/folder/My Files/ ).
I can however access this share from Windows Explorer.
This is on Windows, the Ensemble controller Service is running under 'Local System'
The cache.exe processes in the task manager are running under 'SYSTEM'
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks,
Conor
