Hi All,
I have just created a new instance of ensemble. I setup a user
account and gave them full privs. They can log into the System
Management Portal but they can not access environment through the
Studio. I have checked the parameters and they all look correct. Then
I copied all parameters from my account which works find. Here is the
error and it appears to be specific to a Name Space:

Access Denied : Unable to log on the server GIANT, Namespace
NYCCRX

Any ideas?

Are you on the same system where the namespace is or is it a remote namespace.

The network namespace may not be available from this machine. try going straight to machine and trying

If %All doesn't work then its some other issue

Not sure if your _system user is active. If not try that

The user may not be enabled if he is getting Access Denied

The licence file may not be there so that means only one user can use that namespace at one time.

Hi

Could it be you're firing Studio at the server on the wrong superserver port?  Check your server settings as that could misleadingly lead you to think it's a security issue when in fact it's actual inability to reach the server.

I'd suggest you log on to Management Portal and check the audit database to see further info on the error. If you can't find anything on the audit log, make sure you enable login failure audits. If after all that you still don't see anything, then it's most likely because you're not even reaching the server, hence no audited log failures.

Hope this helps,
Ricardo
