I have an app that draws animations to the canvas using a SurfaceView subclass. After upgrading to Android Studio 3.0, I started having problems with running the app on the emulator. The app works fine on a real Android device, but the drawing commands are not showing up at all when I run it on the emulator. There are buttons on the activity that show up, but the canvas is just blank and white. I tried the debugging technique here and it all looks fine when I inspect the bitmap, but it just won't show up at all on the emulator. Any ideas on how to resolve this would be fantastic.
I have an drawing app for Android and I am currently trying to add a real eraser to it. Before, I had just used white paint for an eraser, but that won't do anymore since now I allow background colors and images. I do this by having an image view underneath my transparent canvas.

When drawing the render target, the output is black. This only happens on the Android device. When drawing the render target to both the Windows console and to the Android emulator, the screen draws correctly. So I am not quite sure what the problem could be. It also works if I draw directly to the backbuffer without the rendertarget. Here is the pseudo code of my render target:
I love drawing on the iPad Pro. Lightweight apps like Procreate make it fun to draw on. Pro apps like Clip Studio and Affinity Photo show that we are starting to really get professional caliber apps on the iPad.
The Mini is adorable and really really light. It now works with the second generation Apple pencil and every drawing app available on the app store. The drawing performance is just as good as the iPad pro but in a much smaller form factor.

I have a device using Android Go 11 with Malwarebytes, because of the "Go" version, the "Draw over other apps" function is disabled which means no apps can use it. However, Malwarebytes keeps saying that there is 1 critical issue that I need to enable it in "Draw over other apps" so that it can help me in case of ransomware attacks. Basically the critical issue chart is kinda annoying and sometimes it sends notification to warn me abt to solve issue. So is there anyway to remove the issue from the app? Idk if the devs have known abt this and should add some exception for the android Go versions.
