First of all, this is an amazing project. I love it.

Two suggestions:

1. It would be great to have the option to switch to a non-LOTR-esque
font for map labels. I love how the Aniron-esque font you are using
adds to the authenticity of the pice, but it isn't the best for really
diving in and reading the map.

2. An overlay layer(s) featuring the routes traveled by the major
characters through the series would also be an interesting addition.

Thanks again for a great LOTR artifact!

I received a similar comment on Reddit

I'll consider doing another layer in romans but for now am focusing on
completeness and correctness with the existing layers. You can review
my progress on Google Docs. The columns named S and L denote the
status of each label in Elvish and English respectively.

You can also review the list of names, which I recently
cross-referenced with Encyclopedia Arda to illuminate additional
location names yet to be labeled, generally because they are not
labeled on any of the reference maps or are synonyms of existing
labels. Many of these locations exist at higher levels of detail than
existing maps afford. I'll be making a review of these eventually.

Story "tours" are on my to-do list. They'd make a great analogue to
the oft-requested driving directions.

To make progress on this, I'll need a list of places to stop and text
to accompany them, probably including thumbnails of art and
accompanying text. It might take a while.
