Unfortunately I have a Xerox Workcentre 3025_NI multifunction printer and after installing the official driver on my Ubuntu Gnome 17.04 the scanner does not work, only the printer. Under 16.04 the printer and the scanner also work. I don't understand why.

Hi, Im using Mac OS Mojave on MBP. I've tried to use my xerox 3025 workcentre wth MBP but I can only print. The Printer also has scanner but I keep getting errors when I try to scan something. I've added the printer using MBP settings with Airprint and I could only print documents. After installing Xerox drivers i can stiil print but scanning manager keeps crashing. Im using Mojave OS. Any ideas?
The below driver works on Ubuntu mate 18.04.1 only for printing.
The scanner application does not see the scanner.
On Ubuntu 14.04.5 (32 bit) the same driver worked just fine.
I tested the driver on Ubuntu mate 18.04.1 on 32 and 64 bit with firewall on AND off, but NO luck.
I installed the driver by unpaking it and right clicking on install.sh and run as administrator.
When the question about the firewall got printed in terminal, I tried with autoconfigure and with skip. I couldn't make the scanner work.

hello, I am new in Linux, i tried to run in terminal those lines but after reboot my operating system forced me to install a fresh copy of the Linux.

This is going to sound a bit odd, but is there a way to configure Scan to Email (Email app) to always choose from the selections (device address book, manual, favorites..)? For instance, when a user scans to email, they select their email address from the selections presented and adjust the settings and scan. When another user decides to use the app they're already on that screen with the settings in which they have to adjust everything.
I know they can select Reset and it will refresh it, but if there's a setting somewhere I can change that will not remember the last user's setting and have them choose their email address from the selection all the time, that'll be awesome.

Just had some C8035/55s installed. When copying and selecting paper supply, is there a way to sort the listing of the paper trays? They are not sorted by tray numbers or amount of paper in trays. The list seems random.
As in the title, our workcentre is producing black lines when we scan documents. However, this only happens when we're using the document feeder to do two-sided scans, and it only appears on the back-side scans. The front of each sheet is always great. I suspect that something needs to be cleaned, but I'm not sure what. Any suggestions?
My WC 3220 is showing "scanner locked" on the display. This appeared after I removed the ADF to replace a hinge. Removing the ADF required that I disconnect it from the base. I've confirmed that upon replacement of the hinge, the connection is secure.
New 8035 installed at our district office. Incoming faxes are received and printed. However, when sending a fax, the display show processing, then dialing. Shortly after, the job is then paused. I'm trying to send to another 8035 at a school connected to a standard POTS line. The district office copier is connected to an ATA.

I called Xerox yesterday with problem of not being able to scan to email. After they tried some troubleshooting they figured out our systam was out of date (hadn't been updated since 2013) I have since updated the software to 073.010.008.05210
But I still cannot scan to email. When we email It acts like it will work then eventually the whole process will time out and it will print and SMTP Transfer repot that says "One or more message were not sent. Devoce could not transfer messages to the sending mail server (SMTP). See your System administator."

On March 21st, our clinic SBS 2011 server died. Parts for a rebuild are on the way but it won't be online until next week. It was our one and only server, and handled all networking functionality (DNS, Security, File Hosting, Printer/Device Hosting, Internet Access, Active Directory, etc) and hosted our Xerox machine. As a temporary workaround we connected the Xerox via USB cable to the nearest desktop PC. We were able to successfully get network printing service up and running again with this fix, but scanning is another story. Without a local DNS server on the network, the scanning output system no longer seems able to find the computers on our network, repeatedly spitting out error 016-782. We've tried various permutations of using the network computer name or the IP address. But nothing seems to work. Is scanning functionality simply unavailable on a local network lacking a server to run the DNS service? The Xerox cannot seem to push a file out to the network, but could a workstation possibly pull a scan from the machine?

WorkCentre 3025 is refusing to set up network scan ("Scan to PC" option). Scanning _from_ a computer works fine. Selecting 'Scan to' menu on the printer results in 'Not available' message. Printer web interface doesn't show anything related to its Scan or Fax options. Xerox Easy Printer Manager (native Mac app) does show something for Scan and Fax, but fails to change anything ('Communication error' message), after which it freezes, so it has to be killed (Mac menu => Force quit).
To make matters even more interesting, Xerox support website does not recognise the printer serial number, so I cannot email support. This is pretty much my last option to write to someone :)
