With a huge appetite for gaming, currently, there are more than 250 million gamers in the country. Looking at this number growing continuously, Google expects the gaming industry in India to reach $1 billion by 2021. EA shares in computer gaming across India as of 2020 is 25 % . with such a vast community we deserve to play at the good, lag-free servers. The closest servers are in Singapore with ping latency 80-110 ms. suddenly ping goes high in middle of the fight and everything goes haywire. I think there are many people/ gamers like me from India who goes through this.
India does need one server so as to reduce the players base latency.Even I play on 150ms daily which is not a healthy latency to play on and moreover singapore server is unfair as you rank up you find yourself to carry new players or ending up in predator lobbies. So skill development is a totally hampered here as a newbie you will be competing against high ranked players whilst not getting early kills and feeling harassed about its unfair matchmaking and also Singaporean servers are flooded with cheaters which is actually more raging.So yeah India does need Server.
Hi I am from Pakistan and currently the game connects to the server towards far end of East Asia, probably in China or Hong Kong. The game used to work fine before the last 2 patches, however now when I play I get heavy Dsyncs and also connection lost to the servers. Also with the new update the addition of ping high display on the top right shows the ping is from 170 to 250. Just wanted to know if the DEVs are planning to add servers in South Asia Region in the near future, maybe in India?
I'm from India, my ping averages at around 150 which is kind of acceptable when I'm with my EU friends. But also doesn't cross 100 when I go solo. I'd say the De-syncs are due to terrible server connection or just internet connection in general. But yeah, I agree that some servers near by would be helpful.
Hey there, i play with a pakistani friend who has an ISP by the name of "Storm Fiber" see if that is available in your area,hes from karachi. He wad having issues few days ago so he was using killping to lower his ping. But now he has no issues on Singapore server. Meanwhile i play from the Indian side of Kashmir and since the June 10 patch game is unplayable for me, ping stays around 100 but i get kicked due to "High Packet Loss", i cant see my teammates or enemies,everyone is invisible to me. Everything was fine until the June 10 patch, the game is unplayable for me right now.
Does anyone from India here use BSNL FTTH to play, i want to switch to BSNL FTTH since jio fiber will take a couple months. If you use BSNL FTTH please let me know how your connection on tarkov is and about servers in India, i have been asking support for servers in India since 2017 but since there arent many players from India its very unlikely that theyll give us our own servers.
