As we are just several days into 2018, I would like to share about the "Joy of Travelling on a Motorcycle" as per my personal experience when i was in India. And as some of you guys out there might know, India is famous for people mostly using Motorcycles as their mean of commute.

India has long been a favourite of motorcyclists thanks to the availability of many types of Motorcycles. The cities are mayhem as traffic, livestock and humanity compete for space, but once out on the open road, Rural India is MAGICAL.

For me, riding a bike wasn't just a regular machine of transport, It was my Freedom of exploring the beautiful roads of India. I didn't travel to most of the places in India but as much as i did, I can say one thing for sure about it, that IT WAS WORTH IT.

They say "FREEDOM IS ON TWO WHEELS, I think "Freedom" is such an overused word I sometimes question whether anyone really knows what it means. But I can't think of a better one to use in describing the sense of self-sufficiency and independence that comes from the simple act of getting on a bike and twisting the throttle.

We live in a jittery world; there are so many demands for our attention. If you are a person in a relationship with kids, a family, a job and ambitions, it may at times feel that everything you do is at the service of someone or something else; that every action you take is directed by something external.

On a motorcycle, it's just your little head inside that helmet. You are in control of you, totally and completely. You feel the immediacy of your actions and decisions. The zen state pushes away anxiety about deadlines and bills to pay, and whether that girl at Starbucks was flirting when she told you to have a nice day.

It's not selfishness, but simply the realization of the fullness of yourself. On a bike you feel like a complete human being, not an insignificant part of something else. And with this knowledge you'll find your interactions with your partner, kids, family, job, ambitions and so on, will improve.

I always thought part of being cool as a motorcyclist comes when you stop worrying about "embarrassing" things like helmet hair or walking into restaurants wearing base layers; you don't get upset when it's hot or cold or raining or windy. Ride regularly (and intelligently) for long enough and you'll even be less enraged by other road users' negligence. Because you know centering your anger on one person or thing only results in lost awareness.

Some people phrase motorcycling in terms of RISKS and FEAR. And there are people out there who would be put off by that. I mean, Imagine you trying to to sell the idea of Motorcycling to your mum; "It's great, Mom, because there's an increased probability of your dying in horrible ways."

Nope. That doesn't work for me. But I will admit that there is an adrenaline aspect. When I push the bike above the speed limit, or swoop through a section of corners, or again make an unsuccessful attempt at a wheelie, there is that rush of buzzing happiness and giggling laughter. That is, without question, one of the reasons why I ride. For some people it is the only reason they ride. there's no denying that motorcycling is fun.

COE stands for Certificate of Entitlement, which is a must-purchase to own and ride your motorcycle in Singapore. PQP stands for Prevailing Quota Premiums. This is when your motorcycle COE is going to end, and you intend to renew your COE. This is based on the average of the last 3 months of COE bidding results, which you need to pay to LTA by using one motoring website platform.

Alessandro Valia: Both models undoubtedly have a substantial amount of power and both meet the prerequisites to safely deliver this power to the road. Ducati has incorporated various riding modes in its models, allowing riders to individually adjust the driving characteristics for both the racetrack and the road. This provides riders with numerous options to tailor the motorcycle's power to their riding skills.

Jaan Mattes Reiling: The same applies to the Audi e-tron GT prototype. By making the power delivery controllable, it is easy to drive and enjoy these cars. Despite their sporty nature, both the Panigale and the prototype are designed for daily use.

Valia: I believe both models are at a similarly high level. This is especially true in terms of the technologies used and the resulting performance, for example, when accelerating. Both brands pay a lot of attention to the smallest details. The Panigale V4 R serves as the foundation for our racing bike in the Superbike World Championship. Both models allow the person at the controls to find the ideal individual setting. The significant difference is that, for the motorcycle, the rider has much greater influence over the driving dynamics. Nevertheless, both models fulfill the criteria for providing a highly enjoyable riding or driving experience.

Reiling: I agree with you on that. However, when it comes to the e-tron GT prototype, high performance includes more than just the propulsion system and handling. It involves the entire vehicle, including design, quality, and comfort during both short and long drives, captivating everyone behind the wheel. Additionally, the assistance systems helps motorcycles and cars to interact more safely in everyday traffic.

Reiling: Personally, for me, riding a motorcycle is even more exhilarating because the connection to the road and surroundings is more direct compared to driving a car. When additional assistance systems enhance rider safety without diminishing the emotional experience, that's definitely the right approach.

Reiling: Absolutely. On the one hand, we need to meet evolving country-specific requirements. We also constantly keep a close eye on the markets. But even more important is the feedback we get from our customers, the press and of course dealerships. Based on that, we decide where we need to refine our products to make them even better or to develop a new model. The prototype for the e-tron GT family and the Panigale V4 R are the best examples of this.
