Enigmanity is a proposed philosophy about the natural world that, if
validated would greatly illuminate certain facts of evolution
apparently ignored by philosophers. The universal numerical and
literate fundamental concept of the "The Enigma of Asymptotic infinity"
has evaded society's understanding permeating all existence without
mindful acknowledgment.
The fundamental fact that all reality from "creation to infinity" is a
function of the mathematical principle of "the Enigma of Asymptotic
Infinity" (EAI) articulated by Karl Friedrich Gauss one of the greatest
mathematicians of all time, when he observed the mathematics be a
fundamental element of existence. He understood this mathematical basis
of modern calculus all his adult life only, latterly, to confront the
subtle reality of the," diabolically tantalizing fact" of its affect
on all existence.

A mathematical straight line continually approaching but never meeting
a related curve or an evolving Event never achieving precise
determination.
One narrative description captures an image better than most and helps
illustrate the asymptotic enigma: Imagine a desert oasis within visual
contact of a person dying of thirst. He is physically debilitated but
he is still able crawl. He struggles to crawl half way to the oasis
before having to recover strength. After some rest he again crawls
another 50% of the remaining distance. He only has the strength to
continue on the same basis. By definition does he live or die?
Like a bathtub filled a drop at a time or always getting one more
squeeze from a tube of tooth paste. Both acts contribute to the
evolvement of the event.
Whether the universe exists as a result of creation or evolution is
entirely irrelevant to human understanding of existence. Rather the
need is to be assured that it is managed at all.
Enigmanity proposes the only difference between evolution and creation
is the differential rate of change. As in modern differential calculus
which relies upon infinitesimal change. All Events (happenings) in the
universe change in this way with, even, big bangs composed of infinite
asymptotic steps. EAI tolerates change from zero through every phase of
development, positive or negative, great or small either caused by a
design process or random development. Event complexity ranges are
unlimited such as boiling an egg, design and development of a 747 or
natural disaster.
Asymptotic Infinity is a universal absolute, the essence of which is
only describable by algebraic formula known mathematically rather than
by intuition or reasoning. Its existence, however, is observable in
more every day experience than most other observable phenomena. E.g.
satellite dish collectors and thousands of insoluble human conflicts.
The satellite collects a mathematically specific data and a language
conflict resolution collects an infinite range of emotional empathy.
Enigmanity aspires to develop a scripture analogous to the wisdom of
the three Abrahamic Holy Scriptures but viably replacing the absurd
concept of simultaneous creation of everything by a God or a Supreme
Being.
As a starting point we need an all inclusive description of the
composition of the entire universe as an infinite organization. The
essential formula being comprised of an infinite number of the
individual characteristics by which Events, happenings, are recognized
or known.
In order to visualize the concept of an infinite universe comprised of
an infinite number of evolving happenings we must have a discrete word
for the single unit of the billions of infinitely evolving phenomena.
Enigmanity proposes applying a generic meaning to the English word
Event that would describe each individually.. An Event, therefore,
would describe every Event from Creation, the design and development of
a modern commercial aircraft or even the boiling of an egg as
individual Events.
Every Enigmanity Event evolves asymptotically and therefore is by
definition incapable of precisely describing its own beginning or end.
The inevitable existence of an infinite number of Events mandates that
there will always ones that are complex to the extent that no solution
exists.
Enigmanity aspires to develop a scripture analogous to the Serenity
Prayer that grants the serenity to accept enigmas that cannot be
determined, the courage to resolve those that can and the wisdom to
know the difference.
Fortunately, in human experience beginnings and endings are mostly
determined comfortably by common ambient experience long before
reaching the asymptotic range thus eliminating the need to contemplate
the enigma.
The Supreme Being concept would be relegated to a fantastic illogical
bunch of words denying the reality of Friedrich Gauss' wonderfully,"
diabolically tantalizing fact" of Asymptotic Infinity.
