to Enigma touch
Last weekend I had the opportunity to show the Enigma touch in the "Crypto Corner" at the Ham Radio convention in Friedrichshafen. I had a blast -- lots of interest, great discussions, and a museum-quality Enigma replica plus two original ones just two tables down from my little model. Many thanks to Gérard, Bart and the whole crypto "gang" for having me, and thanks to all who stopped by for great feedback and pleasant chats!

For those who could not play with the Enigma touch in Friedrichshafen, I will probably bring it to a couple of vintage computer festivals in autumn. That should be great fun too, although we will have to make do without the real Enigmas next door, I'm afraid... Any suggestions where I should definitely go?

Best,
Jürgen

Can you show some pictures from the convention?

I took far too few pictures -- spent the days talking to Enigma enthusiasts, which was not bad either. :-)

But here are a couple of photos: Our hobbyist exhibits (the "budget corner"); a museum-quality replica by Klaus Kopacz next to an original Enigma I, brought upstairs for a workshop; original Enigma I downstairs in the exhibit, ready for show & tell.
