I'm looking at getting a Enigma touch. I would like to know what's included with each model.

You get the clipboard size device, 18 stekerboard cables, laminated quick guide, and (i think) a printed manual. Also a neat muslin bag to hold the cables.

You need to buy the battery on amazon.
And use your own usb c charger

I bought 2 units for stem demos at schools

It is awesome. So cool with the plexiglass back. Motion rotor advance, and aound effects.

I wish they had the wooden box model available when i bought. I think i will add one to my collection

So the only difference with the Enigma touch cased form factor, is the wooden box?

Exactly, the two variants differ only in the box vs. frame enclosure. The included accessories (cables, quick guide card) are the same, and they also run the exact same firmware.

Quick correction: The detailed manual is not included as a paper copy. It is available as a PDF here: https://e-basteln.de/computing/enigma/enigma-files/

Jürgen

Barry -- thanks for the picture of your wall-mounted Enigma touch! The purpose of those two extra holes in the back plate is a well-kept secret. Thanks for sharing that insider trick! ;-)
