Dear ZIPANG friend

The storyteller Tony Aylwin was a tremendous help to Zipang when they began telling Mesopotamian stories 20 years ago. In 2016 he made possible the group storytelling performance for the Storytelling-in-Hope Club by the Zipang Young Mesopotamian Storytellers (ZYMS). This was an important highlight of the Gilgamesh epic project for young people.

Sadly, Tony died last year. Two of the original Zipang storytellers - June Peters and Fiona Collins - were particularly good friends with Tony for many years. They now invite Zipang friends to join them in celebrating Tony's long and fruitful life.

There will be food, drink and storytelling of all sorts on Friday 9 March from 7pm until 10pm. The celebration is in the Smeaton Room, One Great George Street, Westminster, London SW1P 3AA.

All Zipang friends are welcome.

RSVP by 1st February to junelin...@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing you there!

Best wishes.

The ZIPANG team
