Dear ZIPANG friend
This Wednesday, 28th March, the new lamassu now in London will be unveiled on the Forth Plinth in Trafalgar Square at 9.30am.
It's a sculpture created from date syrup cans by Michael Rakowitz, the American artist of Iraqi-Jewish heritage, entitled 'The Invisible Enemy Should Not Exist'.
Come along to join dignatories from the London Assembly and friends from the Enheduanna Society and the Iraqi Association, to give the new lamassu a very warm welcome to London, and to say thank you to the artist and his family.
There's more information about the new lamassu on www.zipang.org.uk
Don't be late if you don't want to miss the unveiling!
