Dear ZIPANG friend

A lamassu made from empty date-syrup cans by the renowned Iraqi-American artist, Michael Rakowitz, will stand on the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square for two years from the end of March 2018.

Michael Rakowitz will be in conversation with Jon Snow in the British Museum at lunchtime on Thursday 29th March. This is a free event but seats must be booked at the link below. Let's give Michael Rakowitz a Zipang show of support!
