My Grandfather
My grandfather is a purposeful man. I think there's no diffculty
can threaten him.
Grandfather had an unfortunate childhood, but he never gave in to
the bad fate. Grandfather was an orthan and was brought up by his two
elder sister. There were few books to read, but no matter where
grandfather was, he tried his best to know more about the new words.
When he grew older,he managed to make money by himself.
Grandfather always did something strange that other people
thonght. He and grandmother have five children, four daughter and one
son. In old society, women are not equal to men. So girls would never
send to school. But Grandfather did. He sent all his children to
school. However, there was so many people said that grandfather was
foolish. Hearing of that, grandfather smiled and said, "They are all
my children. I think girls should have the same rights in the
society." In order to pay the school for the childrens' education,
grandfather worked so hard. He said that he would never repent that.
Now grandfather often tells us some stories that people keep
their career aims constantly in view. He hopes that we can learn
something new from them and achieve our dreams in the future.
How passionate grandfather was. I love my grandfather in my heart of
hearts.

My dog
In this summer I got a little puppy . She was one month old with
coffee fair，black face and white paws. She was very cute and small for
only 1KG，but she is growing up now with 3.5KG heavy.
At first I don’t like her，because I am afraid of dogs .I always worry
she would bite on me and I have to inject some rabies vaccine. My
father loves dogs very much ,so we decided to own a dog in our home.
Comparing with time passed by，we develop deep friendship through my
feeding，training and playing. I don’t fear her no longer，even I can
touch her head and mouth. I call her Beibei and speak English to her.
How amazing she can understand “sit down，come here and jump”and some
other simple orders soon.
Though Beibei is a clever dog，she is really naughty . She bites
everything：shoes，paper，dustbin and so on. Her sharp paws makes our
sofa terrible and some times she excretes waste matter on the floor.
Our toilet training is not successful.
Beibei is a lucky dog，because we spoil her very much that we give her
own red house，fashion clothes，even take her to the restaurant to
having tasty food. She brings us happiness as well as troubles .We
regard her as a member of our family and love her. The cute，naughty
little dog.

My Sister
My sister is three years older than me. As for me, I think she is a
little simple-minded, but that really makes her a charming person and
a happy one.
In my family, my sister has a cute name that a child who can never
grows up. She didn't get good educated, so we always worry obout her
job and her future, but she never troubles herself with that kind of
thing. If you ask her, her childish answer will always be" Don't
worry
obout me, I have a good luck." While the whole world is caught with
money, interests and, all the people are so busy that they could not
afford to relax, my sister is always playing with the interesting
thing of herselves'.
However, I'm glad that she is always happier than others. She
doesn't feel the high pressure of life, and she has never been
troubled by interests. She always gives you the smile that a cute
child has. She makes the poeple around her feel easy and pleased all
the time. Now, she really has married a nice man, and I now believe
that she really has a good luck. Also, I hope she can be as happy as

child all her life.

The place I visitied last summer holiday is Nanjing , my
uncle's home .This was the first time that I have went to
Southern by myself . The weather in there is very
hot and wet . At the start , I was not adapted the
climate at all . But after serveral days I found
there was many beautiful places to enjoy .Such as
Wolfmountain , Binjiang park , shibo park and so on .
The most exciting things is I saw very big
ship that I have never seen . The Changjiang bridge is
very spectacular .

My friend hai jun is one of those lonable characters who only one
flaw. he is a slob.although he regularly goes to a very unkept and
unrily.It is always falling in his eyes, even his hair collar, and
into his ears.Even if he combs it hunfred times a day, it loks as if
it has not uneven anf shaggy. It looks as if has not been combed since
he crawled out of bed. He also grows a thick black mustache thyat is
always uneven and shaggy.It looks as though he just bits it off
acrosshis upper lip instead of it with scissor.And there are always a
few hears that run counter to the direction nature inconded.

The Whether in Lan Zhou
I just experienced autumn and winter in Lan Zhou.
Lan Zhou is a industry city is famous for Lan Lian and Lan Hua,so the
air is polluted seriously.When I am a little child,Lan Zhou's air is
grey.Now it gets better,but it is very clear and fresh.Sometimes we
even can't see the stars in the air and the situation is worse in Xi
Gu community .
Lan Zhou's climate is a little dry and has a lot of sand storms.It
makes people so afraid because everywhere is yellow .There are a lot
of winds that become very terrible sometimes,because it has a strange
sound like a goast.And windows always shake by it.At the same
time,sands and specks come together with it.If experience a
sandstorm,you'll feel it's so dirty that your hair is full of little
stones.
In winter,Lan Zhou's temperature drops so down.It becomesso cold that
the water on the ground will turn to ice immediately.It doesn't have
very great snow but the snow in Lan Zhou is not small yet.Last
year,Lan zhou just had a little snow,snowing only a few times.So the
wether become so dry that many people got cold.
Yellow River flows through the Lan Zhou city.The views of the Yellow
River are very beautiful.Only on the bank of the river you can feel
the light wind through your face.There are some trees and flowers
there and places to have a rest.It is good for health to have a walk
on it.
But Lan Zhou's green cover is too low and industry industry
developing
pollutes the air.That's the reason why Lan Zhou's weather is so bad.I
think the government must take some effectional ways to solute this
question.Not only the government but also the citizens must do
somethings to our common home!

An Amazing Trip
When I was twelve years old, I got a really amazing holiday---
Botanical Garden trip. I can’t forget it because of a deer named Shay
who finally became my friend.
It was the first time when I saw him and he just fallowed with me in
the cage as I walked around the cage. He caused my attention, at the
same time I walked to him. I felt it was amazing at that moment and
we
might know with each other before. I believed we must be friends.
After that I went to see him every day. It was amazing that he waited
for me at the same place every time. Maybe he also needed care from
who really realized him and he must have a lot of pain in this small
cage. I could understand him because we had something in common.
During that time, I talked to him about my mind and I could felt that
he could understand me. Even though he couldn’t express himself in
language, I could read it through his eyes.
I don’t want to remember the view that him fallowed to me until he
couldn’t move when we leaved with each other. But I’ll remember this
valuable experience that we touched each other by heart for ever.

A Hurry Day
I think it’s hard for me to capture the moment when I came to my
college firstly. It gave me a complex feeling, but it was really a
hurry day.
My father and I went up at six o’clock in the morning, and then we
got
to college at seven o’clock. There were so many people when we
arrived
there and there were so many things we should do.
It was lucky that we got the help o two kind girls, at the same time
rainy weather was making trouble or us all the time. Finally we
finished cleaning up my dormitory till afternoon.
But there was still one thing that was very important. So we went to
bank even though we were very hungry, but it was so bad that the bank
was full o people. Then we spent the whole afternoon in bank.
At the end, I just wanted to say:” Oh my goodness! We made it
eventually.”
What a hurry day!

Mother
My mother was an warm-hearted and strong-willed woman. She was an
ordinary person in others' eyes, but a great woman in my heart.
she was always willing to help neighbours who was in trouble and
never asked others for a reback.one of my neighers, an eighty years-
old woman who lived alone in a house which was far away from her sons'
and daughters'house. She liked to talk with others to get rid of a
sense of lonliness, so my mother always asked her to come to my home
and chatted with her patiently ,and invited her to share delicious
foods with us.
she was also a good-tempered mother.Although sometimes she was
strict with our studies, and obsessed with everything, she won't blame
us when we made some mistakes. Last year, my brother lost his bicycle
at shool,he was so upset that he dared not to tell my mother what had
happened, but when my mother notiticed it, she just said to my
brother; it dosen't matter, it isn't your fault,nest time remeber to
take care of your things.
A stong-willed person she was, but she was also easily upset.I
remembered once I was bored about her endless chatter to me, so I
quarred with her with a bad attitude. I heard she cried in the nest
room that night,at that moment,I was realised that I had hurt her
deeply,I was repentent for that.Mother, please forgive me for what I

A Beautiful Snow Mountain
During the National Day, I and my parents traveled to Snow Mountain,
one of the famous attractions in our town, and we are all attracted by
its beauty.
Snow Mountain was in a small village which was in the edge of our
town. Some people who never went there before just as me will be
surprised to its name and may ask:"Is there snow on the mountain?" Of
course not, people just called that. Snow Mountain had a natural
beauty which had not been artificially modified. Its grasses were
green just like a beautiful large green carpet covered the whole
mountain when looking from the top of the mountain, which must be very
comfortale to lie on it I thought. We walked along the narrow
meandering footpath and breathed the fresh air mixed with the aroma of
the soil and grass. I never experienced this feeling and I loved this
smell very much. Another attractive thing was that the lovely and
colorful wild flowers blooming on the both sides of the road. They
looked like countless glittery stars interspersed the green mountain.
I ran freely in the light wind and threw my heart to this beautiful
nature. It was so peaceful and wonderful that I even didn't want to
leave.
It was really a unforgettable travel which gave me a good chance to
get close to the nature and the beauty of the Snow Mountain will stay
in my memory forever.

An Unusual Travel
Everything seemed all right at the beginning of the journey. The
ship sailed smoothly on the sea, bobing and down slightly on the
waves. A folck of sea gulls flied in the light sky, their pure white
feathers were shinning in the sunshine. Suddenly, the sky was darkly
coluded, just like a huge black pot covered the sea. Then a heavy gale
was blowing, raising the great waves, which made the ship began to
shake heavily. As the wind began to gain strength, the ship was tossed
harder and harder. Finally, the ship was swept by a wall of water and
was going to sink. Just at that moment, the water circled to a large
water column, which rushed to the sky. Under the water column, a big
ugly mouster who had colorful feathers, a long neck and large eyes
broke through the water quickly with its bloody mouth opened, its
white sharp teeth were sticking into the ship. An unavoid danger was
comming to us.......

My Friend
I have a good friend, a boy who have a pair of big eyes and
long attractive eyelashes.he always wears a smile on his face, which
made you feel good.
My friend have a wide range of interests. he is fond of many
things, especially reading books and watching basketball matches. He
reads books that he think is value to read. He have many books,
including some famous literary works and poety authologies writen by
both chinese writers and foreighers. he treats books as his good
friends, and protects them from broking or losing. he is also
interested in watching basketball match.Every time when he puts his
attention on the basketball match,he will be bathed in contentment and
will not go to sleep until the match is over.If he sees the team he
most like has won the game, he will yeals with a loud voice and claps
his hands to show his happy.
There is not a perfect man in the world. Frankly speaking, he has
an irascible temper. he is always insist on his personal opinion
althougn sometimes it is wrong, and if you point out his fault, he
will shakes his head and adopts an indifferent attitude, responsing
with a single words: thanks for your advice, perhaps next time I will
follow your advice. By saing so, he will continues to do it in his own
way.
A good friend in my life, I hope we will be good friend forever.

It think the artical my friend has left me a good impression for
the following reasons :
1 it's arranged by a clear order . In the first paragraph, the author
gives us a brief description of his(her) friend's appearance. in the
following two paragraphs, the writer use details to show his(her)
friend's interests and chracteristic.
2 The author use a central sentence in each paragraph which is then
supported by his(her) details ,as a result it makes the readers easier
to learn what he(she) want to say . Besides , it also helps the
author to use the properdetalis to support his(her) idea.
3 There is good transition between paragragphs .For example "There is
not a perfect man in the world." It helps us to get to a new topic or
idea easily
If the author can use a adjective to summarize the friend's
personality, the artical will be better.

methods from this artical:
1.A brief comment or desciption of a person in the first paragraph can

2 Details can be used to support the cental idea correctlly like

My mother
Mother ,this word gives us a lot of things to think over ,how much do
you know about your mother .as for myself ,my mother ,a typical house-
wife , always strikes people as a simply dressed woman and a tidy-
lover . what’s more ,she also is a warm-hearted person who often
prepares to help others .
Although my mother is a country-side woman ,when you see her at the
first sight ,I am sure that your first impression on her is that she
is so beautiful but simple in appearance . she often wears a long
hair ,but not curly; she has no fashionable clothes,but her dress is
so tidy just like a brand-new.since mother loves being tidy and
clean ,everything in my family has its own place just like the style
of museum ,which looks like some exaggeration ,but that’s really
true ,she will critise me ,if I do a mess of my bedroom .
Mother haven’t received a higher education when she was young ,so you
may think that her words and behaviors are so rude that people could’t
stand it ,if you think so ,you are totally wrong , you must know that

My geography teacher
I have many excellent teachers in my middle school, and they all were
responsible for their students. Now, I want to talk one of my teacher
who was my geography teacher, a stunning teacher, and She has devoted
to her teaching for many years. Let me introuce her. She has a clumsy
body, but she was a very kind person. I think she outshined other
teachers in responsibility, furthermore, her spirit moved me many
times. Especially, she revealed a quality which always encouraged me
and I believe it will be affect me in the future.
My middle school life was a hardworking life. Every morning, we must
get up early and arrived at school on time. If you come to my school
in the morning, you may see teachers stand in front of classroom door,
also I can see my geography teacher. I n her class, she must use up
every second time and we have no time to have a breathe, but we all
passionate in her class and we desirous to attend her class. Because
she teache us from diverse perspectives, so we study very flexible.
Sometimes, we have not finished her class or she has some other
knowledge want to tell us , undoubtly, she will make full use of our
free time. After In dong so , we study geography very well. Though we
have a little fatigue for her teaching method, all of us were
feelgratreful for her.
To some extent, she affect me strongly. I find a quality from her and
I also have this kind of quality. The quality is that when you face
difficulties, you can not give up and believe youself. I always told
to myself other people can do something , why can not I do. I believe

feeling of holiday
Today my feeling is different from others. Because today our
family will get together and have a supper. I'm very happy. My
sisterhas never been back in a few years. So today my sister-in- law
willask her for dinner, then we follow into her. After having dinner,
wewil go to KTV. So maybe we have a full night. In my view, families
gettogher that is the best. I hope that everyone is very happy.
In this national holiday, I went to jiangsu. My mother, my
sister and I were all back. Beacause of staying at the train on the
first day of National holiday, so we could not see the wonderful
programme and we had a pity. Beacause it was very meaningful to our
country. Every ten years it would be held. Although we could see next
day, the feeling of spot live broadcast was gone.
I stayed in jiangsu about five days, because we had eight
days to have a rest. I feeled that I was very happy in that five days.

success in doing anything

In my opinion, I think intelligence has two points to everyone.
Because it likes money that it has two sides. Intelligence is to
people what fish is to watering. On the one hand, it is very
important, because if you have it, then you can save time and
strength. You can make progress. Although it is useful, not using it
for a long time. If so, you become much clever. Good company on the
road is the shortest cut. So I think it is important.

On the other hand, it is bad, because everyone has different jobs,
different jobs need different people. And it makes people lazy. For
example, you can depend on it when you make use of it. So you can only
use easy way not work hard. Doing everything all needs efforts, in
doing we learn. Genius is nothing but labor and diligence. In a word,

weather of LAN Zhou
I don’t like the weather of LAN Zhou very much. I think it is very
boring. When I first come into here, the weather gives me much
impression. It is very bad. I’m a people of south. In the south, the
weather is normal. But, in the north, the weather is not. So I want to
say three sides about the weather of LAN Zhou and suppose my opinion.
First, the temperature changes quickly between the morning and the
evening. In the morning, we always feel a little cold. The temperature
is about ten. In the afternoon, it is very high, we feel heat. In the
evening, the temperature is about below six. We feel very cold.
Especially in winter, there is much snow. But the background of snow
is very beautiful.
Second, the weather of LAN Zhou is very dry. Sometimes we always want
to drink. The surface of the earth makes people heat. The falling
water is a bit small. It is a bad thing. We always feel
uncomfortable.
At last, I want to say about the air of LAN Zhou. It gives me bad
impression. The air seems to be black. It is not clear and blue.
In a word, the weather of LAN Zhou is very terrible. I dislike it
very much. So I can’t stay in LAN Zhou in the future.

Differences between the middle
school life and college life
There are many differences between the middle school life and
college life. For example, you feel insignificant when you stay in
college and you do not know what you should do in a day. But staying
in middle school, you don’t have that feeling. Comparing with the
middle school life, the college life has enough freedom, we have
enough space, and we can do everything that is not limited by parents.
If so, in college we can take part in many activities. It is good for
us to improve our abilities. But in middle school, we do what the
teachers and the parents say. The college life is not too strict and
regular. On the other hand, in college, the relationship of classmates
is not good. In middle school, we get well in touch with each other.
Because we are true a family. In a word, middle school life and
college life have many differences. Instead I still like the middle
school life.

What I did
at the last weekend
I still remembered what happened at the last weekend when I went
home. Every weekend, I all went home. I got up very early that Sunday
morning and felt excited. Because that day is unusual, which my sister
married. I took part in her wedding. And what’s more, I was her
bridesmaid. So I was a little beautiful in that day. My sister was
making up, I took photos for her, and remembered the unforgettable the
future. A few hours later, my brother-in-law came, but we didn’t let
him come in. He must give us red packet. The number of money must be
more enough, or we couldn’t let him enter the house. After that, all
of us went to a hotel by bus. They had given a wedding. We were all
happy for her, and wished her that she would have a warm family. In

Make My Bed
Why I don’t make my bed? I have considered the question at one
time. Because at my home I never make my bed. So my mother always says
that I’m too lazy to make my bed.
Once upon a time, I had developed a bad habit that I do not like
making my bed. I know I’m a lazy girl. In my family, I’m the laziest
member. Every morning, I never fold up my quilt after getting up.
Maybe it is a normal and regular thing. This is one reason that I
don’t make my bed.
Another reason that I have no time. Because I liking sleeping
very much. I want to sleep when I have redundant time. So every
morning I will always sleep instead of making bed. As soon as thinking

My Brother
My brother is 17 years old with height of 1.78 meters tall, he has big

boy who always made my family members worried.

teacher and everything in school. He always run away from school to

When seen those kind of things happen, I feel very angry about
my brother. Meanwhile, I feel how poor my father is. but my brother
don not think so, he think it is natural for a father to burden all
the tings that should be responded by son. Having this kind of brother
I feel very sad and sorry, now, what I should do is to do my best let
my brother spend most of his time staying at home and reduce my family

differences between middle school life and college life . Firstly,
since we college students no longer live with parents, it is a must to

account. The only officer on duty was a man, he was debating with a
fourteen-year-old boy who wanted to withdraw some money. But the bank

regarded the so-called policy as a ridiculous thing. He wanted to help
the young boy to present his interests, but in vain. After the young
boy’s leaving, the officer told the man why he refused the boy’s
demand. It turned out that the other guy was forcing the young boy to
take money out every week and hand it over. The poor boy was afraid of
what the other guy would do to him, so he didn’t tell anyone about it.
But anyway, the police were on the case and then they would make an
arrest. That was how the bank represented the young boy’s interests.

close my eyes again. I want to do nothing but sleep. Yesterday, there

to put on clothes, brush my teeth and wash my face. But there is only

Michael is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good
mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask

employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing
this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Michael and

have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can

complaining I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point

"Yeah, right. It isn't that easy." I protested.

"Yes it is, " Michael said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut
away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you
react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You

choice how you live life. " I reflected on what Michael said.

Soon thereafter, I left the big enterprise that I had worked in for
years to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often though
about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.
Several years later, I heard Michael was involved in a serious
accident, falling off 60 feet from a communications tower.

After l8 hours of surgery, and weeks of intensive care, Michael was
released from the hospital with rods placed in his back. I saw Michael
about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he
replied, "If I were any better, I'd be twins. Wanna see my scars?" I
declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone through his
mind as the accident took place.

"The first thing that went through my mind was the well being of my
soon-to-born daughter," Michael replied. "Then, as I lay on the
ground, remembered I had two choices: I could choose to live or I
could choose to die. I chose to live." "Weren't you scared? Did you
lose consciousness?" I asked. Michael continued, "... the paramedics
were great. They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they
wheeled me into the operation room and I saw the expressions on the
faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, l
read 'He's a dead man.' I knew I needed to take action." "What did you
do?" I asked. "Well, there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at
me" said Michael. "She asked me if I was allergic to anything. 'Yes,'
I said. The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my
reply. I took a deep breath and yelled", 'Gravity'" Over their
laughter, I told them, 'I'm choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am
alive, not dead'."

Michael lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of
his amazing attitude.

My Mother
My mother is an ordinary peasant woman, with plain appearence. She
is warm-hearted and strong-willed. In my mind, Mum seems like a
lighthouse in the dark. She always gives me right direction in

Mum is beloved by almost everyone in our village, because of her
warm heart. She helped newly-married woman make some clothes and shoes
for her children. Some villagers came and wanted some advise for
growing vegetables. Mum always offered the advise patiently.
Sometimes, I complained the troubles that Mum's warm heart brought.
However, she told me that the world needs warm hearts.
Mum is also a strong-willed woman. My father works in other place,
so mum has to not only look after the farmland, but also take care of
my brother and me. She works in the whole day, from sunrise to
nightfall. All our neigbours said that Mum is the most diligent woman
in our village. When I heard these words, there was a deep sence of
grievance in my heart. However, mum never complains, although
sometimes she was obviously exhausted. After school, when we got home,
mum already prepared delicous food for us. We were eating dinner,
while talking something happened in school happily.
Now I studied in the university being far from home, and I missed
mum deeply. When I remind of mum , there is a strength that let me
move forward.

As a native ,I know my hometown –lanzhou coulden’t be
better .located in the Northwest china ,lanzhou has its own special
geographical position---center of our map .if you study further ,you
will find that it is the transitional zone of many geography
terms ,such as monsoon climate ,temperate zone of
agriculture ,economic zone.
When it comes to the climate ,we must mention the weather of
lanzhou.in lanzhou monsoon climate is typical ,so in the summer ,there
will be plenty of rainfall ,which is benefical to crops ; in
winter ,it is very cold and freezing ,people wear velvents to protect
themselves from being frozen, in spite of this I think it’s better
than the cold in Northeast china ;in spring ,it will be sorry, because

My home
Home is the harbor of my heart, especially when I got pain in my
heart, for my family is really a harmony and cozy home where I am
surrounded by true love.
My home is a small, with just 100 squares, flat, and when you enter
it, you will find a long passage, maybe about 4 meters long, at the
end of it ,there is a wall on which a mount script written by a
famous calligrapher in our area hang. You can see such scripts and
paintings in each room of my home, because my father is fond of
writing and he knows a lot of historical stories, which of
course ,makes me jealous.
Turn back and walk a few steps along the passage, you will find our
drawing room. As you can see, there is a set of rose wooden furniture,
a TV set and definitely some mount scripts on each wall. The TV set is
small and old, but it brings a lot of happiness and warmness to us. We
four may sometimes stay together and cheer for a wonderful goal scored
by Kobe, and sometimes enjoy an excellent ceremony with high passion.
You can not imagine how hooey we were when we laugh and talk together.
In addition, we often hold family meeting, which is called "Pink
Saturday evening" by my family.
So I really love my home and it is really a warm and cozy harbor for
my tired heart.

The smiling angel in my
life
Look ,she is smiling again. My motner is a middle-aged
housewife who is loved by her famiy and neighbours. With smiles always
on her face, she strikes all those who meet as a kind person.
Although ,she is not well-educated, she is a gentle and attractive
lady with her charming smile. Being a housewife, she has devoted
herself to caring about her beloved husband and children, and i know
her a loving mother, a loyal wife and a highly competent daughter-in-
law.
She has left her job since i was born and became a full-
time housewife who has to deal with bits and pieces in daily life. I
still remember her smiling at me when i failed to enter my ideal
university. I was in my lowest points that moment, so i couldn’t help
signing in despair all the time. It was my mum’s encouraging smile
that helped me out of that depression in my life. I know she is the
smiling angel who is sent by god to help me, and her name is “loving
mother”.
The angel is also a loyal wife of my father . being in
deep love with my dad, she was determined to marry the poor man
regardless of the objection from her family. A friend in need is a
friend indeed, the same appilies to wives and husbands. My dad once
had his gallbladder oprated on, and mum was always with him, which
made her loose 5 kilogrammers in one week. I was touched deeply by
their deep love. The moment my dad woke up from the drug anaesthesia,
he called my mum softly, stretching his hands in search for my mum’s.
“ Yes, i am here ,dear”, smiling with tears in her eyes, she grasped
her beloved’s hands firmly. I know it was the moment when my dad
realised that the smiling angel in his life was the one who he called
“ my dear”.
Once you love a man , you should love all his family,
including his mother. Although big differences exist between mum and
her mother-in-law, they live in harmony with each other. My
grandmother is so vanished that she always put the sweater knitted by
my mother and show it to her old friends, saying “this is knitted by
my daughter-in-law.” And mum often react to the comlpliment by just
smiling as she always does, that’s the reason why my grandma tell my
mum “you are really a smiling angel in our family.”

My
teddy bear
I’m always fond of the new and tired of the old,
however, no matter how many toys have bought over the years, my teddy
bear is still leaning over the wall against my bed with his fatuous
smile on his chubby cheeks.
I got it as a birthday present from my cousin three
years ago, and since then he have been with me wherever I go. Longer
than one meter and having a full and round body, he is just like a
real child. A friend in need is a friend indeed. My teddy bear was
with me when I was in my low spirits, listening to my complaints no
matter how late it was, and that made him my friend indeed. I once
lost my sleep because of a nightmare, I was too scared to call anyone,
and so I just hugged the soft body of my teddy bear firmly, whispering
my fear to him. Toy as he is, he knows how to comfort me using his
tender eyes and sweet smile.
Now there have already been many toys in my bedroom, the
teddy bear is still the one I love so much that I took him to my
dormitory when I entered the university. I believe the brown boy will
be with me forever and listen to my complaints and what is in my heart
patiently.

My mother is a warm-hearted person, she always helps our neighbours
and other strangers, I admire her very much, of course, I also love
her deeply.
For me, my mother is a very strict mom. When I was a child, my
parners always bought some snake when their parents gave them spending
money, but my mother never gave me any spending money. Sometimes, my
dad gave me pocket money without her permission, when she knew that,
she would punish me and not allow dad to give money to me again. She
thought I ate enough food at home, and eating at home was safer and
fresher, the most important thing is that snake is bad for my health.
My mother is strict with my study. When I was very lazy and didn't

My little brother is the one whom i always quarrel with and the one

independent and considerate.
Like all his pals, he is into basketball, which makes him strike

dedinitely against my view, saying” students should try to be

he argued, he is now working for a hotel as a waiter at weekends,
which gains my respect for him.
Not all stubborn men are mean and just care only about themselves,
my stubborn brother is a considerate gentleman. I am always weak, and

enough . My father bought it to me as a present when I

Seated on the brand-new bed which is covered with a crisp red sheet

beautiful black eyes in the sweet face sold her out, telling her

My
Favorite Present
My favorite present is a new year’s postcard which I received from my
best friend last year. Though it was merely an ordinary paper card, I
fell in love with it at the first sight from the bottom of my heart as
soon as I got the present from the postman with great excitement. No
doubt I will keep this precious present conveying a great wish and
love from my best friend all the time.
It was delicate and beautiful New Year’s card. The red front cover
strokes me with a comfortable and warm feeling just like what my
friend brought to me. The picture describes a very enjoyable scene, so
there was no wonder that I was deeply attracted. It was snowing
outside. The land was filled with bright white snow. A little boy and
a little girl in beautiful Chinese traditional clothes were playing
with firecracker happily on the snow ground, clapping and laughing.
Besides them was a lovely snowman in a brown hat. Two big black eyes
and a big orange nose made by a carrot made this lovely snowman full
of humanity. There is no doubt that these two children had made full
use of their great imagination and enthusiasm to make such a beautiful
work.
No doubt the front cover of this card was really attractive. What is
more, the reason why I regarded it as my favorite present was that it
expressed a great love and best wishes from a sincere and good friend
on the back cover. In the back of the postcard, like other new year’s
cards there were six blanks for the zip code on the top of the left
corner and three lines in the middle. It is obvious that every word
was carefully written by my best friend, which showed his respect to
me. What moved me most was the best wish written on the left on the
left of the card. “Dear Wei, How time flies! It is such a precious
gift to have you. It is especially when you are far away from your
friends that you realize how important they are! Take care and enjoy a
happy life in the coming new year. No matter what difficulty you have
to confront, be brave and give your best shoot and I am always ready
for you! Remember you are not alone! ”
After reading it, my eyes became moist. “You just steal the words from
my mouth! Keep in mind whenever and wherever you are, all my best
wishes are for you! You are my best friend, life-long friend and
excellent friend.’’ It was just a paper card but what conveyed inside
was true friendship which was more than other expensive but valueless
present. I will carefully collect it as the way I cherish my best
friend forever!

My father is a kind man. He is not very tall but he is a humorous man.
My father works very hard and his services are highly appreciated. My
father runs a little restaurant, so every morning he goes up very
early to make preparations, he always give the passengers smiles when
they step into our restaurant, so many people speak highly of him and
come everyday. As that, my father always goes to bed late.
My father is a kind man, but sometimes he may lose his temper. Before
we lived a hard life and many people helped my parents, so my father
always gives others help as he can. In the past two years, my younger
uncle lost his job and they lived hard, my father gave a hand to him
and he always bought some food to my uncle. Not5 just for my uncle, my
father always helped our other relatives. I never saw my father lost

My hometown----Lanzhou
Lanzhou is the capital city of Gansu province which has a very long
history, As it is my dear homeown, I love it so much!
When people from other places talks about Lanzhou, beef noodle is
always the first topic, it is so delicious that everyone who pays a
visit here will have a feast of mouth. As a local people, we often
have it as our breakfast. We are attracted by its delicious soup
together with the noodles.
The second topic is the Zhongshan bridge which is the first bridge on
the Yellow River, as it can’t stand the pressure which is too heavy
for him, now it has become a bridge just for walking and watching the
beautiful scene along the bench.. Wuquan mountain is also a welcomed
place, there are five springs on this mountain and they are called”Gan
Spring, Hui Spring, Meng Spring, Mozi Spring and Juyue Spring. It is
very beautiful and many people will go there to celebrate the Summer
Holiday, that is really enjoyable.
There are many other famous places in Lanzhou, and welcome to pay a
visit here.

My brother

I have an old brother who has a big nose and two big eyes. He is
very warm-hearted,
especially to me. He always buys some delicious food for me. I am the
youngest one in
our family, so he looks after me very well expect that my parents are
not at home.

I remembered that he married in that day. Everyone wanted to take
my sister-in-law,

so I thought that I could not go to there. I was a regret. At that
time, my brother said,
'everyone could not go, my sister must go. Because she was my unique

It’s a book which is full of warm and sweet feeling. Actually it

Editing Script
Editing script is not easy!
Firstly we sat together to watch the film which we decided to play and
selected the parts from the film. After that, we selected the parts
from the caption Word documents and made mark at the same time
according to the film parts we selected before. In this course, we
communicated with each other to make sure that the parts we selected
can be put together to be a complete story. We didn’t finish that work
until 2:00 p.m..
Secondly, we should to put the whole part we selected into four
scenes. And we should add caption and mark the players’ names. In
order to save time, we decided to make the job apart, so that we could
do it at the same time. Next day I finished the same No.1 and No.2
from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Xiao Hui and Xiu Jie finished part 3 and
pat 4 at 6 o’clock at afternoon.
After that, we started to talk about each other’s part together. We
finished it at 10:00 p.m.. Then we printed the final script and sent
them to players.
We did it!

Grandfather
My grandfather is a little fat with a medium height figure. Ordinary
he is, my grandfather is respected everywhere, because he is not only

As a headmaster of a middle school, my grandfather is always

Although he is strict at his work, at home, he is another man. He

condition. About five yeas ago, she had cancer and was in really bad
condition. My grandfather always accompanies her and encourages her.
At last, my grandmother recovered after a surgery. After that, only
when there is time, my grandfather will take her to tack a trip. Now,
my grandmother is becoming younger and stronger with sill always on he
face.
I like to go out with my grandfather, wherever we go, there would be
someone who knows him and will address him with reverence, witch makes
me feel pride and confident. I like my grandfather, I appreciate of

Grandpa had an tragedy childhood, but he never gave in to

the bad fate. Grandfather was an orthan and was brought up by his two
elder sister. There were few books to read, but no matter where

Xiao Qin ,my best little girlfriend, is our idol.Almost everyone likes
