Dear Ms. Ruhanie,

We have been working on three assignments during the last few weeks and some of us have to hand in drafts of our first chapter of the dissertation on Friday (which is also the deadline for Discourse Analysis paper).

So, we were wondering if it is possible to hand in the assignment on the 22nd instead of the 21st. We are aware that it might be an unreasonable request as you have already been kind enough to give us an extension, but we would be grateful if you could give us this extension.

That's fine. So, the extended deadline of July 22 for ENG 4198 is for the whole class. Thanks for letting me know early so I could work my schedules accordingly.
