"Mother's Day is a day honoring mothers, celebrated on various days in
many places around the world." (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Mother's_Day) One representative celebration day is that of USA, on
the second Sunday in May, i.e. May 11 for 2008.
This morning i got up early and phoned my mother far away in the
countryside, who gladly received my heartfelt greetings. Today is a
nice day and i have a very good mood, esp. after Mum answered my
phone. Thus I took the advantage of this great day to greet some of my
female friends via mobile messaging. And i did so with my new phone
number, which have never reached these female friends since I began to
use it this month. Some of them replied to me by polite thanks
together with wondering at the sender; others must have regarded it as
a message by wrong processing. Only one showed great curiosity in the
message and located the sender by the reply i sent to her. Here is the
chain of mobile messaging:
Me: Happy Mother's Day! Happy everyday.
SHE:Thanks! By the way, may I know your name, please?
Me: Chancy greeting, fancy feeling. May you be happ every moment!
SHE:Then you must be Mr. Cyber, am I right?
Me: Guess as you like, but feeling happy MATTERS most.
SHE:Haha, please say "Happy Mother's Day" for me to your dear mother!
Now could you try analyzing the above messaging TEXT with what you
have learned by now?
By the way, remember to call up your dear mother if you forgot to.
Best,
Swan
