Why do our students find difficult in changing direct speech into indirect speech?

           Reported speech is a complex concept and beginners fail to attain accuracy level. They should know vocabulary, Tense forms and Tense rules, Pronoun Types and Adverbs used to report. Moreover the concept of speaker and reporting person identification should be found. Before trying to report a speech, one should learn most of the grammar rules. Types of sentences also affect the correctness of reporting. Practice is a must.

*This concept demands more time to explain rules.

*To prepare our students to get two marks....

*we should spare atleast 10 hours in rural side. 

*Though we train our  students....they may not successful in exams.  

Really it is tough to teach reported speech in rural areas.

To know Reported speech properly one has to know many grammar points and so many  changes take place while chaging direct to in direct so usually students make mistakes
