Dear All,
If you are interested in exploring how you might invite students to reflect on AI feedback alongside peer feedback, we hope you’ll join our extended community and come to our webinar July 9 at 1 pm Pacific time/ UTC-7.
The PAIRR project (Peer and AI Review + Reflection) is a human-centered, research-based pedagogy and professional development project funded by the California Education Learning Lab. Initially developed at the University of California, Davis, our approach fosters AI literacy by teaching students how to use AI to support their revision process rather than having AI do the writing for them! In PAIRR, human feedback remains central, crucial to fostering engagement and authentic writing experiences.
We are hosting a free webinar about the PAIRR framework where we will share our open and adaptable assignments as well as our tested feedback prompt that emphasizes Linguistic Justice and Equity. This prompt can be used with any chatbot or with the not-for-profit app MyEssayFeedback.ai.
Here are the webinar details:
Date and time: July 9 at 1 pm Pacific time/ UTC-7 .
