Hi, everyone! My name is Karen Crozer, and I'm the new English OERI Lead! I teach English at Los Angeles Mission College, and I'm excited to connect with all of you. A huge thank you to Anna for setting up this community.

I wanted to reach out with a few OER-related updates.

Share Your OER Usage with ASCCC!

Are you currently using open educational resources (OER) in your English courses? If so, ASCCC OER Initiative (OERI) wants to hear from you! 

We've created an easy way for you to report OER adoptions so we can better understand how OERs are being used across the California Community Colleges.

To report your use of a specific OER:

• Visit the English discipline collection 

Find your OER and click the Submit an Adoption Report button.

Please share this request with your department colleagues; your input helps build a stronger, more inclusive OER ecosystem for English across the CCCs!

I am hoping to lead a conversation on English OERs in May, and I have been going back and forth on whether to focus the conversation on Intro to Creative Writing OERs or OERs pertaining to British and American Literature. If you have a preference, please let me know! :)
