我覺得大家的討論似乎都卡在【掉】這個字該怎麼翻譯上了
其實,簡單點說:
The cake you are eating was just on the ground.
就可以傳達【完整】的意思了
不需要被卡死在“掉“這個字上頭
中文有中文的語法,英文有英文的語法
並不需要一個蘿蔔一個坑地逐字逐字對照翻譯啦
所以,講話時不用過於拘泥於某些字詞上,除非這個字是關鍵字,少了它意思就不完整了。
還有剛剛那樣講,在口語是可以接受的
但是如果是寫文章的話,就要在【you】之前再加上一個【that】或【which】才合文法囉!
