English is important because most of the information we acquire,
articles, etc. are manufactured in developed countries and these have
English language as a language, so we could say that this language is
essential today. Everyday knowledge and global developments that are
in the world are taken by these countries for their designs and
instructions are written in English.
The English language has undergone a huge expansion over time. In
Shakespeare's time, English was the native language of only a few
million people in the world, possessions and then left now becoming
essential and about 600 million people already have as their first
language and a similar number of people use it as a second language.
