The influence of the music in young people
Music has always played an important role in learning and culture,
being able to influence behavior and emotions. Many times the music is
part of the tradition of a country or region (reggae, tango, folk,
rap, polka, salsa, samba, etc.. In many circumstances becomes the true
protagonist music can also be performers themselves or the same
authors.
Music is a complex of senses, operates in the cultural practices of
youth socialization element while differentiating status or role.
Back in the 50s the "Rock and Roll" came to be part of the hand
history of your most acclaimed performers (Elvis Presley, Beatles,
Rolling Stones).
Since then music has experienced dramatic changes, and the influence
it has exerted in all generations, especially so young, has always
been a source of concern for families sociedady. Of course they are
not meant only that the music has changed society. Society in general
has been modified many of their values, rewarding success today and
competition, efficiency and performance, the power of money, welfare
and recreation, social status and beauty. The emergence of the media
and especially television, has made significant social life. Music
plays an important role in strengthening these values.
We will try to unravel the invisible processes that make the music a
tool for implementation of values, and generating behavior.
