The best of the poems we read from the lit books or the best of the poems other people wrote?

My favorite poem, of the ones I wrote, is called "Puking and All Its Consequences", which is my ode to illness.  I enjoyed writing it, and of the ones that I wrote it is the most interesting in terms of it's style because it's basically a conversation in free-verse format.  Happy puking!

I believe that my best poem, was "The Dictonary of Life" because it's not like most poems, and it doesn't rhyme, however it has great life lessons all through out it that makes it the most vauiable. It has an awesome different meanings to it and it is all jumbled up into one long poem, it is my favorite.

I have to say my favorite poem I wrote was: "The Cold"  I enjoy it greatly because out of all the one's I wrote, I feel a strong connection with it.  It's deep in it's meaning and can be interpreted in different ways.  Also I enjoy the cold for some odd reason haha.  Do give it a read sometime!

My best poem is "Lord make me rich" because it really decsribes what someome thinks about when they want all the money in the world and the material things that come along with them. Yes this poem may come off as cheezy, but i think it really shows what a greedy person thinks about or has visions of wealth about.

The best poem was the one i wrote, "Back To" which was inspired by E. E. Cummings's "Old Age Sticks". It relates to the battle that goes on through our everyday lives. It points out how some people act to things. Its seen in our society how girls and guys tug and pull between relationships.

My favorite poem is "The Sea." I like this one the best because it was
relatively easy to write and is about something that I can relate to.
I also think it was my most successful poem because it closely
resembled "Sunflowers," as it was supposed to.

My favorite one that I wrote was "The Mask". I like it because I believe it reflects society well and how people must put a "mask" on. It is short but the one is was inspired by was also short.

My best poem is the poem inspired by "It's Dangerous to Read Newspapers" written by Margaret Atwood.
I believe it is superior because I feel like I worked my hardest on it and put forth all my effort to create it.

My favorite poem that I wrote is the letter. This is my favorite because it doesn't have any rules, and it completely random.

Of the poems that I wrote I think I like "Fog" the best. While I was writing it I wasn't sure if I was taking it seriously or not because I started out with it being just a kind of nonsense poem, but as I worked on it more and more it grew on me and became less whimsical.

The poem that I think is the best is 'It's Dangerous to Read Newspapers'. I believe that it is the best because I really enjoyed writing the contrasting scenarios of other's lives with mine, so I feel that since I enjoyed it the most, my best work showed in that poem. By the way, the titles of the poems are posted in the comments.

The poem that I wrote that I think is superior to the others is The Clock Strikes Once, The Clock Strikes Twice because it the one that I put the most effort into, since I liked the story that the original told.

I believe that my poem Sea Monster is my strongest piece. I spent a great deal of time making sure the rhyming went along perfectly with the poem. I think it also has a very strong message to it, since I love the ocean.

I believe my best poem was "Emma Thompson" because a lot of people could probably relate to it, especially if they have ever been bullied or have had thoughts of suicide.

My favorite Poem is Omaha Beach. Though it is depressing I found that it provided an interesting point of view and put the feelings of terror and apprehension into poetry form.

The poem that I believe is the best is "Diamond". This poem has implied meanings and describes something that is very dear to me. I like the format and the repetition as well. The poem also hides what the actual subject is until the last stanza and I think that is pretty cool.

The best poem was probably "There is peace in understanding". I based the poem off Emily Dickinson's "There is a solitude of space"; she's one of my favourite poets, and I really enjoyed trying to imitate her style. Dickinson's poetry is really unique and abstract, which makes for complex but compelling reading. I'm not sure mine really does her style justice, but it was cool to try.

http://stephaniesmith1214.blogspot.com/?m=1   The poem I most enjoyed writing was "Inception" because it was interesting to write about a dream inside of a dream. I had fun writing it, I hope you enjoy it!
