I cannot believe that classis will befinished, Professor.

Thanks for friendly notes in support the difficult student life, like
"Goldhagen will not become worse, than in beginning" and about "light
in the end of tunnel". Right now something blinks and I am not sure
light or tunnel, but I know I finished for sure. Wow!

And of course I cannot stop to be impressed with those ONLINE
REQUIREMENTS. (Un) happy American students!

I prepared about 70% (seventy only) of my notes, not iclude made in
written and have file in Word for 42 (forthy two) regular pages;
consider this like my notebook, journal, draft (PC), etc. I still
believe that online system of study I was suffering and I survived is
something wrong and designed to help students. It is not my opinion,
mu law professor told us: guys, never take online classes ... Now I
will say same things. "Kill the umpire - Kill the LAUSD!"

Thanks,

Boris

"Journal activities are designed to help students prepare essays, so
students should focus on organizing and analyzing ideas into notes of
draft quality but not worry about revising notes into essay style."

Also, "Journal: 10% of course grade" - here, it's worth one letter
grade for the course.
So, yes, the journal work is graded. that students should focus on
organization of ideas rather than grammar or paragraph structure is
not the same as the work's being upgraded in all classes, students
should take notes and participate in discussions.
1. O’C 2 All: the journal activities are designed to help students
organize ideas for upcoming essays, so the recommended order for the
first few weeks would be thus:

1) week 1 journal - done
2) notes on preparing e1.1 - done
3) weeks 2--4 journal - done
4) notes on preparing e1.2 - done
5) notes on preparing e1.3
to answer your question, one post is fine. i don't think you meant to
ask this one, but i will ask it and then answer it, too: is it ok to
post a first draft then work some more on the ideas (whether journal
or essay) and then post a revision before the due date? Sure, and if
you want to ask questions on your drafts, I’ll be happy to respond
with revision advice.
2. O’C 2 All
See the recommended outline in notes on preparing e1.1... "¶3: support
for alternate reason 1: student's alternate opinion is more correct/
practical/useful on the topic because… reason 2: student's alternate
opinion is additionally more correct/ practical/useful on the topic
because… reason 3: student's alternate opinion is also supported by
[author, title, date] because…"
Yes, paragraph 3 is your explanation of what's correct instead. Some
support for your opinion may come from the reading(s) that oppose the
one you're refuting, and you should also look up one source on your
own.

PRELIMINARY NOTE TO ALL ON E1.2S
A consistent challenge for academic writing in general is balancing
analysis of relevant sources with argument of original perspective;
or, explaining researched support for personal opinions. See also a
rather cartoonish representation of this balance online (http://
www.snorko.org/GreenRed.pdf).
Revise out all “I,” “we,” “you” style from first drafts and journal
notes. Replace all slang with more formal vocabulary. Skip hints, or
implied argumentation—no rhetorical questions without answers. Don’t
use sarcastic, joking criticism, or make fun of people for their
beliefs; instead, analyze the logic and ethics of ideas.
Remember to cite all sources used. It was clear that some of the
opinions presented in the first weeks’ journals and e1.1s were
strongly influenced by uncited sources. I’ve read those reviews of
Goldhagen’s work, too. Even so, part of the point of the journal is to
encourage students to check several different opinions on the text,
and no one submitted as e1.1 whole sentences and paragraphs copied
from Internet sources. Citing someone else’s ideas makes your work
stronger, so do it and earn credit for your research. Using someone
else’s ideas without citing the source is plagiarism, worse than no
credit, so forget it.

Breeze_101/1 (introduction)

Of course, I have some ideas how to write assigned essay and my notes
here just to advise Professor I do it myself. I took online class by
necessity of time to save time, but waste it. Online classes are
designed to confuse reasonable students (who have books and
resources), but this experience should not have happened by taking
regular class. You decide. Online class is just temporary obstacle.
You do not have any rights to decide what is helpful for you and what
is wasting of your time. You are already counted on roll, labeled by
nickname, so that is to say organized to do only what assigned by
course. This is worse than be a student. It is killing and it’s OK.:
step by step, … until alive.

Breeze_101/2 (report to week one activity)

Last orientation and consultation was attended on February 13, 2010.
Finished to read and understood syllabus and its numerous
clarifications. I hope that I read enough. Visited: assigned
psychological support from APA institution (standards in writing), Ms.
Diana Hacker’s site (impressed, needed time to comeback, maybe) and
Cornell University site (required by order; mandatory help); finished
to read chapter one: eliminationism, not genocide.

Breeze_101/3 (ideas about readings, but essay yet.) – posted (a – f)

a) Nuclear weapon. Presidents act in the their state national
interests. If not, they are reelected or neutralized by “society as
is” (people are not perfect and sometimes they are unpredictable, but
they still represent society). In testing weapon of mass murder
President believed he acted in national interests. The retribution was
found opportunity to demonstrate power of new weapon only, but any
elimination or genocide. After first using the deployed nuclear weapon
is regularly tested, but electronically only. The admitted eliminated
effect of nuclear weapon opened doors for alternative dispute
resolutions instead direct punishment, for making attempts to theorize
idea of eliminationism.

b) Loss of people. In national interests Presidents of developed
countries make decisions to lose (act or do not act at risk)
incomparable less units then save (disasters, national emergency).
Also in countries with acting political regimes or religious influence
its Presidents make headway with support of “society as is” (not
established in its self-respect). National standards in concealing of
facts are applied as well. All acts of genocide happened in such
countries. Finally, in years society admits its fault for political
regime actions. Victims get remedies. All satisfied. Textbooks are
corrected. Case is closed.

c) Author. Author is wordy because he does it for living. He needs to
write more to get sources. This is well known kind of talent to make
money, if you can do something. Not everybody can write from nothing.
This is art to find passed topic to report. To report up to label
people where they are from: if you are from country with past mass
murder you are supposed be labeled as suspect. Get culture shock,
stupid, and make conclusion how to live. Writers want to be first in a
(any) new people regulation of their (writers) imagination. In the
same time author recognizes, “Extermination has also been a staple of
all eras and parts of the world … we cannot be sure that certain
slaughters occurred or of the number of victims.” (Worse than war,
page 18, last paragraph …). The author attempts to earn points on
politics or for politicians is a way of dilettante. If new edition of
Crime of Genocide will support his ideas he wins. Do people stop to
kill each other?

d) History of people elimination. Right, people live and conflict
because they are people (like Darwin’s Theory of Evolution).
Generally, here is no necessity to create new theory of human being,
like Eliminationism. Writers excluded: they know who we are. Suddenly,
I got agreement with author that it does not happen without any leader
who triggers mass slaughter or elimination (pg.21, last paragraph). So
communities of people have to be very responsible in their
participation in any elective process. By fact “mass murder is a
political act” (pg. 29, second paragraph) and this is my second
agreement, not more.

e) The modern state. The society is in progress started from
industrial revolution. New technologies require new probations to
understand them, before using. The contemporary state has people by
greatest communication system up to survey society to affect people
privacy. Understanding of social world is changed quickly. Social
tension is increased. People invented ideologies and ideological wars.
The fear that enemies can transform world earlier heads to
abnormalities in politic. People in power try to influence nature by
engineered decisions. They meet political problems and define enemies.
Finally enemies must be eliminated. This is a way to regulate people
populations. And nobody dreams about elimination end for you. It is
just evolution!

f) The problem. Collected knowledge about mass slaughter allow author
to demand rewriting of genocide definition. The Crime of Genocide, as
it defined by the United Nations Convention was studied after WWII and
so does not included primitive and non-technological ways of killing.
Those politics could not realize about decrease of quality of human
being, about regress. People living on different levels of society see
“evolution” differently. Hence the genocide definition is product of
past century. Maybe new century adjust it or offer non-genocidal forms
of problem solving. The new definition probably will include new
quantity of victims for its determination. Does it resolve problem of
growing people population and stop mass killings? Does it will stop
mass murder as a political act? The country government decides their
inner problems. But author insist on his only imagination of
eliminationism.

Contemporary eliminationism in facts:

Spanish depredation in America
Americans’ expulsion of Native Americans
Belgians’ mass murder in Congo
Germans’ annihilation in South Africa
Japanese’s wholesale killing in China, WWII
Indonesian mass slaughter in East Timor
Chinese’s eliminationism in Tibet
Communist onslaught regime
Nazism’s apocalyptic regim etc.

• CURRENT WORK UNDER e3 (considered class notes)

Select a conflict Goldhagen discusses, research it, and decide if his
analysis is useful in understanding the conflict and preventing
similar conflicts in the future; Research a Congressional bill; begin
to imagine a fictionalized treatment of the topic. Perhaps your main
character (/ˈkærɪktɚ/ a person in a essay etc.) will personify your
essay's thesis and represent what you think should be done about the
conflict. You might contrast a villain (/ˈvɪlən/, the main bad
character) and a hero to represent conflicting perspectives on the
conflict. You might set the story in the conflict, in a distant time a
place, or you might set the story at LACC today, and the main
character could be a student researching and writing about the
conflict.
P.S. Goldhagen's book doesn't keep getting harder and harder, and even
though e2 and e3 are significantly longer and more complicated, the
analysis and style are similar to what you've been doing. You can do
it, and in a couple more weeks, you'll be well more than half done
with the entire course.
It does require a little creative imagination, though. It might have
been more helpful for essay 2 if we’d done it earlier, but the
thinking involved will apply not only to essay 2 but also to essay 3
as well.
All should first select, research, and begin writing on a current
conflict then later start comparing our world to characters from
Shakespeare’s play.

Here is some my findings. Shakespeare placed the responsibility for
resolving the ambiguity about the fate of Aaron's child on the
audience, but the closing Aaron‘s tone is in persistent malice. Pity
seems highly incongruous when spoken alongside buried Aaron. So
Lucius decided …, “save the child, and bear it from me to the
Empress (to Tamora - BKZ) …” (V.I. 55); Tamora was terminated, so
child had no any chance, but follow her.

Daniel Goldhagen (author) v. James Traub (reviewer)
(Analysis and Refutation Paper. Part 1 due 2/19)

From first look on assigned to read New Republic article Ending our
age of suffering by Goldhagen, author of Worse Than War: Genocide,
Eliminationism, and the Ongoing Assault on Humanity (2009) his
journalist work seems like a set of popular stock phrases designed to
attract reader’s attention to the world ethnical conflicts as number
one world issue. Author calls to pay more attention to the collected
by him facts of human history, including mass murders. The work was
also reviewed by James Traub “Patterns of genocide” (2009), who
disagrees with Goldhagen on the basis of lack or misunderstanding of
national interest. Only “a monster sings of atrocities,” Traub said.
And continues: “To admit of motives [of crimes] is to reduce the moral
to the psychological, and thus to the comprehensible, and thus perhaps
to the acceptable.” Goldhagen is wrong, because:
(1) It is abnormal to popularize crimes
(2) In any state national interests prevail. Generally national
government decides.
(3) He just did not pay attention to the world death statistic,
exactly to the mortuary rate.
Goldhagen is in argument with himself. In “Ending Our Age of
Suffering” he recognizes “political and social conflicts among groups
exist in all human societies.” So that some people in power (or
countries) just use their own or other countries people for free. It
happened not today, it is continued like a business and so only it is
not a history yet. Goldhagen understands and explains his readers the
maintenance of power by political goals of country leaders. Any leader
of any country is interested to be at power as long as it possible.
And, finally, Goldhagen calls to teach foreign presidents how to
govern. It is working without him. Many leaders are not welcome in the
U.S.A. He just repeats all known principles of international pressure
on crimes against human society. He understands happened as political
enterprise, but agitates for what he does not know for sure.
Ideological wars are in action, but Goldhagen calls to spread
handbooks. It is to late to explain this generation what morality is.
People make business. People live with business and for business.
Generally, it is possible to change international doctrine about
wealth of human being, but it takes time.

Goldhagen is wrong. He colorfully describes facts of atrocities in
other countries to get writer popularity between certain political
movements. Of course such work he has done is highly demanded by those
interested in world destabilization. In factual popularization of
crimes he “…heaps scorn [also - BKZ] on the United Nations, whose
founding principles of respect for sovereignty and of noninterference
in internal affairs have served, as he rightly observes, as a shield
for leaders in Sudan and elsewhere who are bent on slaughtering their
own people.”
In support Traub’s opinion I made an initial research. Goldhagen did
not prove his statement about defiance of death from periodical ethnic
conflicts to, as he says “ordinary rhythmus of social life” where
everyday numerous people deaths happen. He did pay attention to world
statistic overall and to the mortuary rate*, particularly. Today 10
leading countries in death from 17,84 to 30,83/1000 people are all
Africa; (in Middle Ages - 40/1000); Hence U.S.A. shall not forget its
own citizen, include own African-American population, raise a flag and
immediately go to rescue Africa? National interests prevail
historically.

* Mortality rate is a measure of the number of deaths (in general,
or due to a specific cause) in some population (http://
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortality_rate).

Homework

Response for ”notes to all on e1.1 scores”
1. Correct source was shown: phrase “parts of Daniel Goldhagen’s
“Worse than War ” (2009)” was changed for required New Republic
article Ending our age of suffering by Goldhagen, author of Worse Than
War: Genocide, Eliminationism, and the Ongoing Assault on Humanity
(2009).
2. An alternate thesis on the topic in the end of first paragraph,
looking like a student (my) conclusion of author wrong (yes, it is
abnormal to popularize crimes in any way when national interests
prevail), was edited as required, for “Goldhagen is wrong, because”
form of writing.
(1) it is abnormal to popularize crimes
(3) in any state national interests prevail. Generally national
government decides.
(2) He just did not pay attention to the world death statistic,
exactly to the mortuary rate.
3. The argument supporting the alternate thesis is improved regarding
“notes to all on e1.1”

Daniel Goldhagen in contrasting reading
(Analysis and Refutation Paper. Part 2 due 3/5)

At his Chapter One of his journalist work, Eliminationism, Not
Genocide from Worse Than War: Genocide, Eliminationism, and the
Ongoing Assault on Humanity (2009) Daniel Goldhagen, in his turn,
raised question about necessity Hiroshima atomic bombing. He claimed
his conclusion and named the thirty-third president of The United
States of America the mass murder. It is not correct conclusion and
that made in interests certain political movements, for journalist
popularity. Atomic weapon was progressively started and, like any new
technical decision required ordinary testing. People did know how does
it work and got it. Until now no state risks to repeat such
experience…
Goldhagen is wrong, because:
(1) He directly compared political decision of country, one of the
leaders of international coalition, battled against fascism with Nazi
(pg..4)
(4) Atomic bombing was stopped and here is no room for speculation
what would have happened if U.S.A. had not finished its nuclear
testing. He could tell us that bombing was stopped by international
coalition participation, but prefers by fact legal misrepresentation
(pg. 4)
(5) Goldhagen continues his cheap insinuations about what would have
happened, if … without any limitation of space and time.
Let us speak about refutation of Goldhagen’s wrongs.
For reason one he says: “What if Adolph Hitler had dropped a nuclear
bomb on a British or American city?” U.S.A. had not support nazi ideas
and does not appreciate them today, despite of political freedom. Here
is right time and space insert example of contrasting reading from Las
Vegas Review Journal: “… the atomic bomb was originally developed for
use against Germany”. It is as well true, as America developed new
enemy as Soviet Union and started Cold War; Germany capitulated and
German military secrets were shared between both intelligence
services, Soviet Union and U.S.A.
For reason two he continued “his if’s”: “What if …Truman had proceeded
to ANNIHILATE (highlighted by me - BKZ) another Japanese cities?”
Well, I support your “if”, guy: If Truman was a butcher, like
advertised by you Hitler, he certainly could not avoid international
tribunal. But Truman was not executioner, just president.
And for third, Goldhagen cannot stop his eliminationism exercises:
transformation, repression, expulsion, prevention of reproduction, and
extermination. The author attempts to earn points on politics or for
politicians is a way of dilettante. If new edition of Crime of
Genocide will support his ideas he wins. And people immediately stop
to kill each other.
Presidents act in the their state national interests. If not, they are
reelected or neutralized by “society as is” (people are not perfect

After first using the deployed nuclear weapon is regularly tested, but
electronically only. The admitted eliminated effect of nuclear weapon
opened doors for alternative dispute resolutions instead direct
punishment, for making attempts to theorize idea of eliminationism.
My classmates and I also assigned to think about existed differences
in understanding of that military action between two generations of
people: people of war ages and people of contemporary, relatively
peaceful time. I start with my student opinion that Truman (president
and chef of military forces) had not attacked Japan, like an enemy.
The war was already won by coalition include Americans. Japan was in
military agony (remember Iwo Jima’s American proud). The real problem
was in growing power of Soviet Union. The works under new weapon were
forced exactly to provide first testing until military capitulation of
Japan. This fact is unknown for young people. Some of them believe
that Soviet Union bombed Japan, as it stated by surveys and
politicians of Cold War.

D.J. Goldhagen in contrasting reading
(Analysis and Refutation Paper. Part 3 due 3/19)

At his Chapter Eleven of his journalist work, Eliminationism, Not
Genocide from Worse Than War: Genocide, Eliminationism, and the
Ongoing Assault on Humanity (2009) Goldhagen again offers his
obsessions how to resolve created by his imagination world confusion.
He claimed world so unstable that governments do what they want, but
he knows right response to this disorder, being well educated in
political science.
claimed his conclusion and named the thirty-third president of The
United States of America the mass murder. It is not correct conclusion
and that made in interests certain political movements, for journalist

THE STUDENT SHORT STORY
(Social/political analysis, contrasting academic non-fiction and short
story fiction styles)

This short story is a part of the future biographical book and mirrors
the real life of the one of reasonable students. McWriter,
international student, who recently turned his 54; who never was in
movie theater yet, but already experienced in legal pleading as a new
job; who needs to meet a requirement of the college English 99 to earn
his educational certificate, lives in this well developed country.
The country is currently experiencing the hard time of economical and
political recession, being affected from one side by uncontrolled
statewide country “business” (essay e1.1, page 2), and from another
side by excessive democracy. The latter allows to hack writers freely
exploit citizen, at least college students, by dictated discussion of
their editorials.
“Again Goldhagen ... (untranslated)”, McWriter made a deep breath and
looked how much time is left to the scheduled for
today deadline to click and send the next forced essay.
Well, professor, I am sure this my work shall help me to survive with
my fourth extension of unemployment benefit, but honestly nothing
changed in my opinion about that Goldhagen, the author of Worse Than
War: Genocide, Eliminationism, and the Ongoing Assault on Humanity
(2009), since I got first assignment to express my thoughts about
raised by him issue with mass murder.
This issue is as well serious, as old. But for what this buzz, he
raised in this really hard time for our country and the rest of the
world. He should not have been so blind about state problems and so
far away from his countrymen. After all it is just non-patriotic
escapade. One of the urgent problems in my new country is illegal
immigration. Unfortunately, here is already no room for the victims
of political genocide, for example, from any African country, where
the mortuary rate is upscale (essay e1.1, page 3, last paragraph).
Under pressure of said circumstances I scanned some authors and their
works in the attempt to confirm my personal, independent opinion. I
was wondering how Goldhagen had started and why. OK, he made some
analysis in the beginning and implementation, acting and ending of
mass slaughter. In the thesis of implementation, for example, on the
base of tragedy of European Jews, Goldhagen in his attempt to count
those perpetrators just blamed whole German nation; he found they
began just by circumstances of military assaults planning. The thesis
of activation of murders he immediately explains that it is leader’s
fault. In the thesis about ending he also did not think too much – all
slaughters are ended sooner or later.
I would say “cool” in my reaction to Goldhagen’s written exercises, if
we do not speak about people and memory of victims overall. The issue
of mass murders exists independently from writers’ opinion, writing
from nothing, just making money for a living. This is certainly
national sovereign governments’ issue.
Goldhagen has been blamed the whole German nation in the jews mass
murder. “It was wrongly believed that the Holocaust’s perpetrators
were all or principally SS men, that they were relatively small in
number ...” (2, page 87, second paragraph). Duh, this Goldhagen as is.
It is time to dig dipper, McWriter again looked at his watch.
Many authors writing about genocide made names on media. In their
competition authors equally blame each other in artificially created
evidence. But some of them felt a duty and took the opportunity to
explain the nature of world best known genocide of World War II and
hence until now linked by numerous web sites. Everybody from named
below academic professors created and supports their own thesis. There
are two opposite sides in this histhoriagraphical debate commonly
known as functionalism versus intentionalism.

Christopher Browning is a functionalist in the origins of the
Holocaust debate (Holocaust was not planned before and during the
WWII). Browning tells us that “ordinary people will more than likely
follow orders” (Ordinary Men: Reserve Police Battalion 101 and the
Final Solution in Poland, 1992). In the response Daniel Goldhagen, who
later started to invent allegedly unknown specific conflict in human
society, claims that German people were apprised about Germany
genocidal plans (Hitler's Willing Executioners, 1996).
I believe that either one world leader did. All genocides admissions
are subjects for survivors of genocides and next generation
researchers, including, unfortunately, and ordinary hack writers.

Norman Finkelstein argued Goldhagen’s claim that “the typical German
[are] pathologically ill...struck with the illness of
sadism...” (Daniel Jonah Goldhagen's Crazy Thesis, 1997). Germany
could recognize its war crimes followed genocide, acting like a
country of ordinary and reasonable people.

The Finkelstein who is looking much preferable because of his closer
approached personal background, education and academic career
highlighted interesting us “Goldhagen’s Thesis” in his 1997 article in
the New Left Review. Goldhagen’s thesis is crazy, he said. Goldhagen
is not satisfied and suggests people, to get relief from international
conflicts, THEY MUST start to think exactly in his eliminationism
categories and everything would be decided. The peace will come,
a.s.a.p., he is sure.
The Finkelstein in spite of his real knowledge about Holocaust could
announce publicly the very closed, almost prohibited opinion about
Israel, as state of victim with self-grabbed idea of “immunity to
criticism” (The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the Exploitation of
Jewish Suffering, 2000). So in reality we see that countries of the
world are developed in their own interests first (essay e1.1, page 2),
and in response for world society interests second. Thus the state of
Israel cannot exist without feeding its “Holocaust Industry”. It felts
well the breath of Armenian Genocide in the back that is not equally
supported yet.

Genocides are happened like a part of human development; they are
started and ended independently from the rest of the world ... and
“Goldhagens”.
And the same Goldhagen suddenly confirmes: “The questions about
people’s willingness to perpetrate violence are anything but
nonsensical – for war, mass murder, and eliminations [of course, how
without just invented new term, of course for eliminationism -
McWriter]... leaders have various reasons for initiating
eliminationist program [no war without that anymore – Mc Writer] (2,
page 146, third paragraph)”.
Right, Goldhagen, in response that mass slaughter does not occur
without state support and political leadership it is obviously that
there is no state without any political leadership that is in its turn
just democratically elected or free happened by state national
traditions of not developed yet countries. Your buzz is extra.
And you understand that mass murders are ended itself. “All
eliminationist onslaughts [(Goldhagen’s) programs - McWriter] end
sooner or later ... why they do not end earlier is perhaps an even
more important question (2, page 233, first paragraph)”. Really, why,
McWriter tried to be concentrated again.
Obviously there is specific genocide market. Thus the State of Israel
cannot afford to think that another state also internationally
recognized as a victim on the base of mass murder may have right and
can apply for the same exclusive attention Israel holds. We see that
black flag placed higher than any state flag (honestly I am not sure
about the state, whose flag is one only from country that is on the
same level). Finkelstein made choice, raised a question about
Holocaust Industry and predictably was refused from entry.

Recently I talked to my collegian network. Look, what it represents in
response for my undisclosed yet point of view.
“You are a main character in your essay and here is what you feel
about the real world, exclude problems with prolonged recession and
the state of the city where you live. You are real. Until you can say
your independent opinion you are alive”, told me First Student, when I
got a minute to discuss my upsetting with the topic of this forced
essay.

Second Student added: “I think so that as of today our country shall
pay much more attention to the own country problem to get financial
stability for their own citizen and give to the rest of the world
governments a little independence from Any Bucks Only Right Opinion.
Let them try to adjust or resolve their problem without parasitism on
the base of such support (exclude humanitarian support in the cases of
the sudden natural disasters)”.

P.S. The Congressional Bill and recommended articles were reviewed and
understood, but they are out from the thesis of beginning-ending of
example of genocide shown in this short story. But anyway, it was
really interested to know that:
there are clean diamonds and hot (conflict, converted or war)
diamonds. Clean Diamond Trade Act, 2003 is a USA Law established to
certify rough diamonds for their origin to prevent financing
rebellious movements in Africa by limitation of free sale on
international market (Kimberly Act) (6).
I believe the case of child soldiers in West Africa was not discovered
by Goldhagen. Of course such information or similar one timely
reported to international institution can be analyzed properly, but
this no base for international intervention (7).

Remember Hitler Jugend, the form of total mobilization in fascist
Germany. In Sierra Leone the compulsory recruitment age is not shown
officially, so like it followed from conducted investigation the child
warriors were used just for special period of local African military
conflicts. It is different from Germany of WWII and so became wide
international attention.

The special international court for Sierra Leone happened to make
sentencing judgment. US House of Representatives reaffirmed
international standards that children must be raised to 18 years and
should not be used in military conflicts before age of 18. The
conscription of children under age 15 or using them in hostilities,
carrying and using firearms or any targeting in military time was
claimed as a war crime.
Such international regulation is an approved remedy designed to end
unlawful practice against children (8).

So let other Goldhagens work with Africa. I volunteer for this country
and McWriter with satisfaction clicked with mouse.

FROM USA OF VICTORIAN ERA TO THE USA OF 2010
(A thesis comparing the metaphoric lessons two different characters
from Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus offer toward understanding a
current conflict in the world)

The earliest Shakespeare’s tragedy Titus Andronicus [1] was not, [and
I would like to believe, is not - BKZ] always popular. Commonly known
is the loss of popularity of the play during the “Victorian era
because of its gore and it has only recently seen its fortunes
revive” [2]. So how does it happened that people become heated
interest to the bloody events is another point of view for Goldhagen’s
[3] insinuation of the natural international conflicts. The
Shakespeare’s play shows massacre and any massacres are very popular
show in contemporary America. The news, editorials, reports are very
readable by society only if they demonstrate blood, violence, beating,
rape, humiliation...
Until now scholars try to explain the current world conflicts by the
events of 16 century. To support such an assignment the determining
characters selected are Titus Andronicus, the tragic hero, who started
the chain of mistakes that led to murders, revenge etc; Lucius, the
Titus’ son, who by fact could stop the massacre unleashed by
“captured” military prisoner Tamora and restore stability of Empire;
Saturninus, the mistakenly selected as a good “friend of family”;
other folk, representing Romans and Goths, suffering from authorities’
victories and losses. These characters will be applied to the most
prolonged and ambitious world conflict between State of Israel and
Palestine autonomy.
The Victorian era (from 06.1837 through 01.1901) was the long period
of peace, when by the way most of UK emigrants arrived in the USA;
local wars existed, but economic development prevailed [here and below
4]. The massacre of 16,500 soldiers and civilians of the Elphinstone's
Army in 1842 in Afghanistan; famine of 1845 changed Ireland’s and
Scotland's demographics; death of around 2,000 people a week in a
cholera epidemic of 1848; Crimean war of 1854 are not considered as a
mass murder, but gore. The quality of the international invasion to
support civilians or get them any relief (popular today medical and
food aid) is not noted with the same as for shown events attention.
The shown above aid was not show, it was aid.
While the Victorian Era is a name for the period from 1837 to 1901 in
the United Kingdom, American Victorianism was an offshoot of this
period and lifestyle that occurred in the United States commonly can
be described as a time of industrialization in business and a time of
dress, morality, and mannerisms in the society [5].
I have never changed my point of view as well on the Goldhagen’s
provocative wrongs [at 6, paragraph 2], as on problems with morality
in the contemporary society. It is to late to explain this generation
what morality is [at 6, paragraph 3].
Unacceptable for my outlook death popularization is my sudden
discovery in the chosen, in provided assignment, very similar by
their violence relishing books, as the chaos in grotesque of the
earliest Shakespeare’s “Titus Andronicus” and song of mass murders
Daniel Goldhagen’s “Worse Than War: Genocide, Eliminationism, and the
Ongoing Assault on Humanity” .
The Shakespeare, being affected by his finding of the Ovid's
Metamorphoses, continued with dramas, for example: Macbeth, Hamlet and
other. But Goldhagen continues as a provocative hackwriter.
These books are put together. But since 16 century no one critic in
healthy mind said that Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus is something not
crazy or idiotic. Same kind is Goldhagen’s issue. It is abnormal to
popularize crimes [at 6, paragraph 2]. Shakespeare has excuse not
because he is the classic writer, but just by using the mythological
story of Procne and Philomela found in Ovid's Metamorphoses.
Shakespeare’s heroes are living their lives, but Goldhagen continue to
collect deaths to demoralize already affected by TV and movies
American society, at least.
In regard of said international conflict, the interest to which is
artificially supported by Israel, acting as the state of victim with
self-grabbed idea of “immunity to criticism” [7], Shakespeare’s
characters, in my opinion, can be viewed, as representing followed:
Titus Andronicus, who is unscrupulous in friends and aliens,
represents the United States of America, like paying excessive
attention and giving too much trust to Saturninus, who is able to play
his own game, representing State of Israel, permanently distracting
Americans from their national interests inside their own country by
changing positive results in international forces to cease a fire.
Tamora, allegedly secured being captured military prisoner,
representing Palestine autonomy, doing things equally Israel. Remember
Titus Andronicus is shown completely loyal to Tamora. And the last one
Shakespeare’s character, Lucius can successfully represent the future
America, free from wrongly supported old stereotypes in international
affairs.
Saturninus, like an Israel, is an ambitious hero and easy changes his
mind: from “How fair the tribune speaks to calm my soughts” [at I.I.
49] to the “As I am confident and kind to thee. Open the gates and let
me in” [at I.I. 64, 65], made after announced by Marcus Andronicus
Roman’s folk choice. Titus Andronicus someday has opened the door the
Saturninus: “Tomorrow, an it please your majesty to hunt the panther
and the hart with me” [I.I. 495,496], being not fully advised about
Saturninus and Tamora alliance: “My lord, be ruled by me, be won at
last, dissemble all your griefs and discontents” [I.I. 445, 446]. The
latter citation is shown to underline the permanently for years broken
international agreements made in attempt to stop the Israeli-
Palestinian international conflict.
Here is absolutely no necessity to repeat a million times repeated
over and over again the history of this conflict. It is old like the
famous rolls with its still undiscovered issue who was and is first.
The both countries need that and it is very similar to the nature of
terrorism, the real international civil wrong. These countries just
live their conflict. As of today CNN and world media again announced
the provocative “Tamora’s” action involved in a skirmish with
[Palestinian - BKZ] activists on a flotilla seeking to defy an Israeli
blockade and deliver aid to Gaza. Nine people were killed in the
resulting violence early Monday as “Saturninus’” troops attempted to
stop the flotilla [8].
“Israel faced condemnation and questions Monday at an emergency U.N.
Security Council meeting called by Turkey …. Israel contends the
flotilla intended to break its blockade of Gaza, while Palestinian
leaders and allies said Israel launched an unprovoked military assault
on civilians. "No state [but “Saturninus” - BKZ] is above the law,"
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said at the start of the
meeting, adding that "Israel must be held accountable for its
crimes" [9].
And repeatedly over and over again “Titus” attention is required:
“U.S. official says flotilla should have observed blockade”. [9] Each
month at least twice USA attention is distracted by artificial play-
off between Saturnius and Tamora. Both ask something more from the
USA. But today Lucius on trone and who knows maybe he really could
shout such an amicochon [pigfriendship - BKZ] mouth up [14]. All other
editorial are repeated the same (about mean nature of the conflict
itself) and so only shown on the page “USED EDITORIALS” as items [8 -
13]. Of course this list is endless.
By the way Titus and Lucius’ kinsmen got another issue to evaluate
Goldhagen’s analysis on recent conflicts and its recommendations for
preventing them in the future. This national hero can be represented
by the creature aka Tamora’s Aaron.
1. There is useless matrix on the page 294 [3], showing commonly known
that not all international conflicts are happened with attempt to
change countries political or social order.
2. The second matrix on the page 331 just shows countries who
demonized, dehumanized or do not its folk [just for Goldhagen’s
general education; “many victims” in USSR were called “enemies of
folk” - BKZ] and does not consist any analysis to judge.
3. The Goldhagen’s thesis from the page 433 that individually
supervised cruelty is rarely ordered from above is obvious by the cost
of execution; work camps are not a discovery; like a sadist or maniac
he enjoys telling his readers the process of killing with maximal
suffering, just to be Shakespeare’s Aaron.
4. At the page 552 Goldhagen underlined that the United Nation
institution on the earliest stage does not have anti-genocide
structure inside its body. The powerful countries-participants were
themselves genocide holders, at least in past (of course, this Aaron
came from the moon and so does not remember his roots – BKZ).
Unification, codification and body of law at today’s United Nations
are just description of facts. Goldhagen failed.
5. Finally, Aaron found previously hidden under tree a bag of gold and
announced his “elimination monetary prevention program” to be analyzed
by readers, like me. What did Aaron say:

5.1. Perpetrating of wars (who are they is not said) know they become
targets.
5.2. Target people wanted for such offenses [deserved – BKZ].
5.3. Target all who wanted to be targeted: all state or governmental
institution [it is war, stupid - BKZ].
5.4. And just finally about that “monetary”: chaos can be organized
not to be paid first – “MANY PEOPLE WOULD BE ABLE TO KILL” – the real
Goldahages (Aaron) song. Killer (profession) is killer only, if s(he)
is prepaid and paid properly (Aaron said).
At this point all pages of Goldhagen’s analysis are carefully
reviewed and Goldhagen is judged. So, gentlemen, it is obviously that
we assigned to read and know by heart the next national hero. Those
from us, who can survive for sure have to find the students’ analysis,
showing the direct relation between college massacres and Aaron’s
instructive (oh, sorry, Goldhagen’s preventive) materials. The verdict
is guilty.
As of conclusion. In Shakespeare Lucius raised an army among former
enemies. The Europe is not so big supporter, being conglomerate of
independent states equally to the former Soviet Union, but Russia
certainly could be a good alien in the stable confrontation to the
world terrorism and amicoshonship [14].
Titus as a tragic hero; he started the chain of mistakes. Titus’s
conduct can be explained with his military background and experience;
military people do not think like ordinary civilians. Remember: Titus
was supported by folk, maybe he could be not the worse emperor, being
advised, for example, of the Lavinia’s mother (who certainly would
choose Basisanus). Tamora, queen and Aaron, lover, the Goth prisoners,
were not penalized to death by Rom laws, but Titus’ mistake. But
Titus, being military leader made the strategical mistake, when he
could not recognize dangerous enemy. The not discovered timely woman
treachery that poisoned the Saturninus was a second mistake, but
already of Titus kinsmen. Just like in real world we all survive.
And coming back to the Victorian America and Titus Andronicus. The
latter is still popular. Consider to visit, for example, the
TitusAndronicus – the popular American rock band; visit the funny
website http://www.titusandronic.us etc.
