Here is some my findings. Shakespeare placed the responsibility for
resolving the ambiguity about the fate of Aaron's child on the
audience, but the closing Aaron‘s tone is in persistent malice. Pity
seems highly incongruous when spoken alongside buried Aaron. So Lucius
decided …, “save the child, and bear it from me to the Empress (to
Tamora -BKZ) …” (V.I. 55); Tamora was terminated, so child had no any
chance, but follow her.
