I hope i could know how i could get my grades up...
I tried my best for the 3rd essay.. proofreading, revising,,,, again
and again till the last minute!
and the grades stay the same... What can i do more to approve?
or is the grade i got the best i could do?
Professor, can you please get me some advise? or are you still planing
on getting the Library Lab at Saturday?

All:

The essay 1 score is an average of the three parts, (e1.1 + e1.2 +
e1.3) ÷ 3. The bonus option is due today, and the score will replace
the lowest of the first three. All are encouraged to post the bonus,
even late. Everyone goes through the cycle of several parts, and all
improve along the way. Essays 2 and 3 have half-done draft stages as
well. Don’t feel bad about any extra effort—try to use it to focus and
begin researching a topic for essay 2.

As for the Saturday idea, no one else mentioned any interest, so I
didn’t book the room for tomorrow. No one time would work for
everyone, but it might be helpful to meet as a class at least once.

I agree with Jiwon. My grades suck professor. I would like to
improve as well. I guess I will try and turn in the bonus essay late.

I would very much like it if we had at least one more in-class session.  I feel re-grouping and having some face time with you Professor would help me greatly.

all:

e1.1, e1.2, e1.3, and e1.b scores have been sent by email. e1 averages
are calculated according to steps described on syllabus and in more
detail with examples on webpage "notes of encouragement to all..."

grade calculators will be prepared for all after e2 final drafts (due
4/23) are scored, but e1 marks for those who didn't receive them can
be resent.

there are still a couple people who don't have a working email
registered with LACC--check in the online student info system where
you register for classes and check your transcript
