Lady Macbeth is Macbeth's wife. She is a malevolent and clever woman. And she is absolutely a very important role in the whole play. In Act 1, Sense 4, when Macbeth confused what the witches said and concerned that the Duncan's son will impede Macbeth to be the king, Lady Macbeth persuades Macbeth to convince what witches's said and instigates him to usurp the throne. She says "Yet do I fear thy nature; It is too full o' th' milk of human kindness To catch the nearest way: thou wouldst be great, Art not without ambition, but without The illness should attend it."(Act 1, Sense 4,14-18) because she thinks his husband is too kind. Her mind is covered by wealth and power. She will do anything for what she wants. On the other side, Lady Macbeth's duplicity is also a vital factor for the plot.to earn the faith from Duncan and Banquo. When they first come to Macbeth's house, Lady Macbeth says "All our service, In every point twice done and then done double, Were poor and single business to contend Against those honors deep and broad wherewith Your majesty loads our house. For those of old, And the late dignities heaped up to them, We rest your hermits." (Act 1, Sense 6, 15-21) Her blandishments sounds she is loyal and dutiful. She easily earns the faith from Duncan and Banquo.
